Got this to try and combat the diaper pail stink. It does a wonderful job! I acknowledge we are trying to literally cover the stink of poo so air fresheners can only do so much, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Multiple packets were included to make replacing it easier when the scent wears out. Already a couple weeks of using it and it’s still going strong, while not being overpowering

I bought this deodorizer to use in my kitchen trash. I live in a studio so any smells really go everywhere. The tape worked for me (didn't have the same issue as other reviewers with it dropping into the trash) so it was convenient to use. I got it in the original scent and it's not a bad smell but in the beginning it was quite strong. It did dissipate after a while but fair warning. My only issue making this a 4 and not 5 star product is that this wasn't a complete deodorizer. It does a very good job of minimizing the smell so that I can't really smell much but if the trash is over 50% full there's still a bit of a trash smell. I'm not sure how powerful this would be against pet poop since I only use it for the kitchen but likely not the best solution. I'll also be looking into a room freshener to boost this deodorizer and really rid my studio of all off putting smells.

We became cat owners in July, and a miasma arose from the (closed) garage trash can shortly thereafter. I began Seeking Answers. Experimenting with different litters helped the boxes but not the can. Putting charcoal in the bag, which worked well when the kids were in diapers, availed naught. By the end of September it smelled like a Superfund Site, and I was going through Lysol spray at alarming pace. I decided to try this Fresh Wave stuff because it's enough cheaper than a Litter Genie that I figured it was worth a shot before going that route. Boy am I glad I did. I attached it to the inside of the lid, where it has been mostly ignorable, and the difference it's made simply canNOT be exaggerated. Before it was unpleasant to be within ten feet of the can and opening it was an exercise in active gorge suppression. Now, there is a very very faint odor when the can is open, and when it's closed, very little is discernable beyond some of the Fresh Wave's own scent. It did take a couple of days to reach that point, but it's been holding steady since. I've only had it in there about ten days, so I can't yet comment on whether a packet of the stuff will last the advertised sixty days. If it falls much short of that, I'll update. Update, Day 26: I swapped in a new packet today, so it looks more like 30 days each, but given the givens, I'm well pleased. Update 01/09/23: The product is still working great, the little holder dealie ... not so much. It now pops open spontaneously within a few minutes, so I have to fasten it shut with something. I'm currently trying out a plain piece of wire. It's manageable, and this isn't a terribly expensive product so I'm willing to manage it, but it's something to be aware of.

After reading the many reviews for the different products by this brand, I was excited to try a few different items. I thought the items were a little bit costly, especially for the amount of item received. But the reviews couldn't be wrong, correct? When I received the beads I did not use the included plastic holder for the little packets of scented beads. I took one package per dresser drawer, I also put one in the bottom of my bathroom. Garbage can – underneath the bag, of course – then I would put the rest of them in places around the house, where I wanted people to get a nice with of fresh air without it being overwhelming. Sadly, it was underwhelming. There was a strong fragrance, the first 72 hours as the beads were exposed to air, so that gave me a false sense of hope, after that, the smell got weaker and weaker, but it was not eliminating the odors I assumed it would. After all, this was supposed to be an item that helped eliminate odors not just cover them up. Especially when I used them in dresser drawers. Even after washing clothes used at the restaurant, there was still a restaurant smell. Even though my husband is the manager, you still bring the smell home with you. After washing everything thoroughly, I thought these little packets would help finish the job off, so he did not always smell like a restaurant . That was not the case. It smelled like I had sprayed his clothing with a strong air freshener that slowly were off, and the old smell reemerged. As for the rest of the house, it was a very similar thing, it smelled very strong the first few days, got weaker, but didn't do much else. Very similar to using an air freshener. I was not looking to eradicate, horrifically, strong odors, I was not looking for this item to do miracles, I was just hoping it would provide basic freshness and odor control of day-to-day life and living. I will give it three stars, because I like the packaging, and I believe if the advertisement is a tiny bit, more honest, and the price point was a little more realistic for what you get, this company could do better. But it looks like they do OK, even though there are reviews like mine. I'm just being honest though. I don't like spending that much money for items that from as the world and provide basically nothing.

Absorb odors well, not a super strong scent and easy to use. Good price and quality. I like the plastic container that you put them in. The old ones were super hard to open, these are much easier.

I have tried the spray and these packs and they smell great. The spray lasts a few minutes and the pods last 24 hours. Complete waste. I bought because of the natural ingredients and don't use any other air fresheners. Wanted the packs for a seldom-used room that usually has the door closed. Scent lasted a day.

My baby's room smelled bad from us making the rookie mistake of leaving diapers in the diaper pail for too long. After using the Fresh Wave Odor removing pack my baby's room smells normal and non-offensive. Great product. Will buy again in the future.

I love Fresh Wave, the scent is not overpowering at all and is natural and safe. I am on the second bottle of the room spray, and just received the pods and pod holder. The holder is what stands out, it can be discretely mounted with their tape. I highly recommend their products, and the original scent is my preference

Isn't air tight.

I bought this because it's the same product that Whisker sells as the OdorTrap with the Litter Robot 4, except these are way more affordable - probably because Whisker buys them from Fresh Wave and then adds a large markup. This really does seem to remove the smell. Even after washing the Litter Robot with soap and water, there was still a little smell, but after I installed 2 of these scent packages into the back of the Litter Robot, the smell went away.

I did not receive the case to hold the product
