Good sleek sensor, more sensitive than PIR
Good sleek motion sensor, more sensitive than PIR models. The shape is slightly different than the shown, but in a good way. (See the attached pics)More sensitive than PIRs - This one is faster to react. It detects non warm objects too, like door movements. But it does not detect very slow movements (which is not the case with PIRs if a warm body moves). It is somewhat possible to move ultra slowly under this one, with out getting detected. This detects movements like heavy rain or leaves movement too if installed outside. So the choice between Microwave & PIR sensors should be made based on the area of application. If you want to detect only human / warm body movements, PIR may be better choice, while it is less sensitive.Microwave sensors are better for faster reactions and sensing object movements. For eg: if you want the activation to happen on opening of a door (without waiting for the person to enter) use microwave sensor. But think about other movements in the room which might trigger it.
