Sharp FP-FM40E-B 33-Watt Air Purifier (Black)

After too much media debate on Air pollution, I decided to buy an Air Purifier for myself. I selected this Sharp Air Purifier after researching based on several factors. This one solves two different purposes and its Plasmacluster technology uniquely defines it. I read about this tech and found it pretty interesting as its active ions are similar to nature and generates fresh air. Its first impression is great. It looks awesome with nice build. It doesn't weigh too much, so you can easily move if you want.It performs great and quickly cleans the pollutant laden air in the room. I also tested the Air Quality of room with PM meter to verify how quickly it cleans air and it was quick. In less than 20 mins, the air in the room was clean, say free from micro pollutants. I just fell in love with this purifier in such a short span of time due to its outstanding performance.‎It also catched a lot of mosquitoes in just 2 days. So I am safe from both mosquitoes and impure/stuffy indoor air. It's a preventive measure for diseases like Dengue and other health related issues due to indoor air pollution.It is really good product. When it comes to your health, you shouldn't think of money but Quality of product and its offering. So go with this Sharp Air Purfier even if you have to spend few extra bucks. And few extra bucks are also coming with extra advantages like mosquito catching.

We bought Sharp's air purifier with mosquito catcher after one of my friend's recommendations. I was initially very sceptical, more so because of the high price in comparison to other well known companies. Gradually we noticed the difference between Sharp's air purifier and some of some other companies, as some of my friends have air purifiers of some other companies. I am a allergic and start coughing if the air is not good in the room and whenever I visited my friends, I noticed that though their air purifiers were switched on, my coughing persisted. This does not happen at our place when our air purifier is on. I cannot explain the reasons behind that, as that would be too technical for me, but the difference is there. Only drawback I find is the high price. The other drawback I would say is that the company does not give at least some free sewrvices and if there is a provision, the representative never told us. So we havent had any service so far, which I would like to have regularly, even if it costs.

I had been researching both online and offline to buy a Purifier for some time now, and after much thought I zeroed in on this Sharp purifier with mosquito catcher.Right from the very start, when I opened the box, I was impressed by the way it looked. It’s a classy and well designed product that should go well with all sorts of interiors. When powered on, it cleans air very fast. I installed it in an above-average size bedroom and could notice the difference in less than half an hour. The Air quality in my bedroom has drastically improved with regular usage.As expected at this price range the purifier has all the necessary filters including good quality HEPA filter, but the Plasma cluster ion technology also makes a resounding difference. The Air quality and overall room freshness are much better than the budget Mi purifier that I used earlier.I decided to opt for the mosquito catcher variant because I have a kid at home and Mosquitoes are getting increasingly dangerous these days. And my decision was right. I didn’t even realize that there were so many mosquitoes lurking in my bedroom, even in daytime.If you are looking for a wholesome Air Purifier, I can confidently recommend this one. It’s awesome.

After a lot of research I decided to buy the Sharp Air purifier with mosquito catcher which comes at a premium price. I wont call myself wise for having bought 4 at a time, though it made me the biggest customer of sharp air purifier with mosquito catcher model till that time. I decided to shell out the money it demanded, simply because along with the air purification, I wanted to get rid off the All Out /Good Night type of pollutants (slow poisons).I assumed that the purifier, which is so expensive would be as reliable. Gave a call to the sales team and got the response on a Sunday even!!!The air purification system Sharp has given is marvelous, I am really delighted to have bought the product but the mosquito catcher is really ineffective and I called the customer care which doesn't seem to be equipped with a solution.My major problem of today is that the mosquito catcher is ineffective, catches a mosquito or two in a day, in order to be able to sleep peacefully, we have to turn the all out on. The moment we turn on the purifier, it removes the all our and stuffs it up in its heap filter, reducing its life.I wish if Sharp could do something to make these mosquito mechanism really effective or stop selling this product which is not worth the difference in price.

This product is one of the worst product and wastage of money.1. Mosquito catcher doesn’t work at all.2. There is no difference in air-quality at all.It is sheer waste of money for me as well as those looking to buy the same product.I seek refundShadaab

It's a good product. I also own another slightly cheaper product (different brand) and that seems to hardly be running if left on Auto. This machine however, is catching things. If you put it near a window, it gets plenty of fresh air but is still not happy with the air quality. We had a big smoke which it promptly alerted on. I like the mosquito UVs those can be useful. It's simple to run and has been running reliably, so I am a happy camper!
