ZEBRAG-301 Gel Stainless Steel 9 Pack w/ 6 Refill Cartridges

I love these pens, they write so well.

I've been using these pens for several years now. The line is smooth and bold, and the pen is pretty comfortable to hold. Others must like them too, because I've had more than a few disappear from my desk over the years... I've learned to keep a supply on-hand, and to keep the supply out of sight! I used to just buy refills for this pen at the office store, but Amazon's price for these pens is far lower than buying refills 2 at a time. I really appreciate that it comes with some refills, too, so I can extend the lives of the pens I manage to hang onto.As great as these pens are, they are not perfect. The refills don't last long - I can easily burn through a refill in a week with only moderate amounts of writing. I guess that bold lines is due to this pen putting a massive amount of ink on the page. The metal clip also bends out of place pretty easily and it's difficult to bend it back to close to the barrel. I wish the clip could be replaced or removed.These are very minor complaints, though, and are in no way even close to making me consider using something else. This is a solid value for a very good pen.

Great for those with smaller hands or if you prefer a thinner pen. Stainless steel makes these Zebra pens both durable and good looking. Not “cheap looking” or “plasticky.” Bonus—they are refillable. Recommended.

My penmanship declines by the day, and these help by being able to write easily with a variety of surfaces under the page. These always write how you hope all pens would, with consistency. Great size, retractable, sturdy. I have started throwing away any other pens because I refuse to deal with them.

Strong, work wel. This is a worthwhile bundle

These are a great value. The cost to quality ratio is excellent. These pens are relatively small -- 5-1/8" long x 5/16" in diameter. They're very light, weighing only 11 grams. The barrel and clip are stainless steel. The clicking action is very good. The stainless steel pocket clip has just the right amount of tension. The inclusion of 6 extra refill cartridges is a bonus. My only two minor negatives are the size of the thin cartridges (small volume of ink) and the hardness of the black, checkered grip surface -- near the tip of the pen. It should have bee softer or more tactile. It's slippery. Nevertheless, these are quality pens for very little $$. The cartridge ink flow (0.7mm) is smooth and very dense black. With a softer grip surface and a larger capacity cartridge, these would be 5 stars.I highly recommend these pens.

I like the ink flow and smoothness. Comfortable and like that you can replace the cartridge. I’m a pen fanatic. I am definitely adding these to my collection.

I love these pens! They're beautiful to look at. The ink flows so smoothly making it easy to write quickly and have the letters all very dark/solid and uniform. The feel of the pen is very easy to hold (with a textured black grip) and very lightweight. I first saw them being used by policemen, then doctors, and now I've been passing them around to all my coworkers who adore them. The retractable feature with a simple click is really nice, too--no fumbling with caps, no letting the pens dry out exposed. I also love that the packaging comes with lots of refill cartridges.A minor quibble is that sometimes when I start to write, the pens spill too much ink so I get an inkblot instead of a letter. I write quickly so it could be worse in other hands. Still... it looks amateurish on documents, especially legal things such as death certificates. It doesn't happen often, but it has caused me and doctors to redo some otherwise nice looking documents.A major quibble is that the ink runs out so quickly. I'm guessing I go through a pen once a week. My coworker has mentioned this too, asking me for more refill cartridges. We've run through all the refill cartridges in less than a month, now stuck with lifeless shells. The refill cartridges, alas, are expensive. Something like $2.00 a cartridge. Ouch. And refill packs are just two per pack--so that's ten dollars or more a month to keep one pen going? These pens are definitely superior to anything I've had before, but I wish there was a way to make them last a good deal longer (maybe a wider ink cylinder on the refills?) and to bring down the price of refills. Hurts to say anything negative about these beautiful pens, but if Zebra can solve these issues, they'd be very loved indeed.

Have been using these for over 10 years at work. I write a lot, and these are brilliant..

Background: I hate cheap ballpoint pens - they offer too much resistance when writing, and I find them uncomfortable to use :(. I did my research over an evening or two, and I cam across a number of roller-ball designs - this being one of them!The pen feels like a quality item, and the physical effort required to write is low (not the lowest, though!). The ink looks good ..... and the pack comes with refills ... good!
