True, but I paid the price because I couldn't get in touch with the company to order. Worth every penny to me!

Q: Is this the original hydrolysate collagen or is it the newer cheaper scammy collagen peptides? unbelievably shady move by this great lakes.

As far as I am aware, the green canister of the Great Lakes Collagen is top-notch quality. (I have never used the orange canister.) I have used this green canister product for quite a few years and not noticed a change in the consistency, color, (slight) odor, or (slight) taste of the product. I am aware of the newer, cheaper collagen peptides available in recent months. That said, I trust green canister Great Lakes Collagen to be the "real deal," to my best knowledge. Best regards!

It doesn't show that information on my can. This is all natural and has helped me stay pretty much pain free!

I order 4 each time. I use 4 scoops for 20 grams of very absorbable protein each day. It was part of my husband's tube feeding program to keep him from getting bedsores and it stopped his teeth from decaying. I wouldn't be without it. It was first suggested by a case study nurse who came for a home visit. Invaluable!!
