The lamp is not really flush mount, it sits about 3/4" away from the ceiling. The bottom mounting plate is flush mount. It does not mount to an existing ceiling AC electrical box either. Instructions are worthless. I also don't see any UL approved stickers. You have to drill 4 holes and mount it to the drywall (screws and drywall mollies included). With that said, for my purpose as a 3000 lumen, 5000K color / temperature garage light that is only on when I'm in the garage, it is a great bright sharp looking light, especially for the price. You have to be a handyman type of person to install this light fixture. The wiring for the light fixture comes out the bottom of the mounting plate towards one side rather than in the middle so even if you place the fixture over an exsiting AC outlet box, it is not centered. I drilled a hold in the center of the bottom mounting plate so the wiring would come out the center into my existing AC electrical box. Now all the wiring is contained in the AC outlet box and is protected rather than pinched between the bottom mounting plate and the drywall ceiling. You get what you pay for...

I just renovated my house, and was looking for brighter light bulbs then the one I used to have. I bought this item because it looks nice with simple design and within my budget. I’m satisfied overall.

Good for the price

I wanted a true flush mount light for my basement workshop. This sits about 3/4 inch off the ceiling so there is a great opportunity for dust and spiders. It doesn't mount to the junction box but has four screws that need to go into the ceiling. The instructions are for an entirely different light. If I wasn't familiar with this stuff it might be a problem. I expect the light output to be fine so I'll put them in the garage. The reason for even two stars is the price was pretty good if they work. If they don't work, I'll add more to this post.

very nice design and gives a strong power light. it should be noted that it needs to be installed by yourself. I actually conect it to a plug so it turns into a bedside lamp rather than a ceiling lamp. the plug can be found in home depot

Gives lots of light but several negatives. You MUST screw it into fixture while securing wiring. wiring is not secured inside the fixed to the LED driver converter properly using push clips to secure non std gauge wiring. Once wired you are then forced to secure it in place which may or may not cover the outlet box. Proper mechanical design could have worked around this issue.We will see if if this product lasts even part of the duration...It was $25.00 but was built with components that might cost $9.00. So far im not impressed.
