Horrible Product!!
I bought this as described for adherence to a generator cover, the product never got tacky enough to adhere to anything, and it is the messiest product I have ever used, and I am not afraid of getting dirty. This black gooey useless gel is the worse stuff I have bough for a DIY project, do not buy.

An excellent value for high temperature silicone sealer
Two tubes of heat resistant silicone sealer rated to 572 degrees is something every mechanic will use for numerous projects. I find it perfect for sealing the connection of the exhaust pipe to the manifold and also to seal the muffler to the pipe on my 2-stroke dirt bikes. No more oil residue to clean up. Most silicone sealer will degrade and lose the seal after multiple rides but so far I haven’t seen any leaks yet. At least as good or better than anything I’ve tried even the special sealer tape designed for the application.

Garbage
This is junk! I don’t even understand the point in making such a useless product. Do not buy

Messy but gets the job done once cured
This glue definitely isn’t the cleanest thing to work with—it’s more like sticky black goo than a smooth sealant. That said, once it cures, it actually holds up pretty well against heat. I used it to seal a small crack on my grill and after a couple of cooks it’s still in place without flaking off. Just don’t expect it to look pretty because it dries rough and can smear if you’re not careful. The nozzle makes application easier, but I’d still recommend gloves and maybe a scrap rag nearby because this stuff gets everywhere if you’re not paying attention. It’s not instant-dry, so you’ll need to give it plenty of time to fully cure before testing it under high heat. If you’re patient and careful, it works as advertised, but it’s not the most user-friendly product out there.
