"Dip the apple in the brew, let the truth of this animatronic witch, seep through!"
She stands around 5 feet. She is easy to assemble. you hook her legs (polls) to plastic base, and the pole which acts as her spine to her hips. Then her back/hump connect to the upper spine. Finally, you attach the head by snapping it into place. If what I had written is confusing there is a small drawing of how to assemble her on the instructions. She takes about 15 to 20 minutes to set up, and it's not a complicated task. The only part that confused me were the "stabalizers". I finally realized that these poles (stabalizers) only needed to be used if she was being placed on an unstable surface (they are inserted into her plastic base). Also, her robe is made of the same spandex sort of fabric used in many of today's Halloween costumes. The overall robe is black, but the interior of the lower part of the sleeves is a greyish color. Her hands are a tough rubber, and her face is a latex rubber. Her hair is attached to the sides of the hood (not an actual wig). As she talks her head moves up and down, and her hand (with apple) moves back and forth, and her mouth moves. She says things like "have a bite," "now I'll be fairest in the land," and so on.The apple is glued to her right hand, and it is made from a harder material (what seemed to be a styro-foam base, which is coated with plastic). The apple does not look rubbery or fake, instead it looks like a real apple. Her face looks like the cartoon hag from the Show White movie...so if you want something that looks like it came off of a Disney Land ride then this buy is for you.SOME OF THE NEGATIVES:(1) you really can't move her arms into different positions (her arms are poles, and not wires).(2) Personally, I felt there were parts of her body that didn't lay/rest right. I felt that her neck and back were too extreme looking/ not padded enough for a smoother neck attached to hump transition. I used some netting/toole under parts of the robe to give her body a more natural/fuller look. However, if you choose to do this don't get the netting near her wires/ moving party= they can jam her system. Please do not let what I HAD written above scare you away from this buy. Whether you make her body fuller looking or not she is still awesome in appearance! Also, for those shopping in the year of 2014, I had read on line that these same witches were being sold at certain (not all) K-mart Stores for around $154.00 dollars. Sadly, the K-marts around me did not have this witch, so I had to buy her on-line. However, for the rest of you 2014 year shoppers, it might be worth investigating your local K-marts.Happy Halloween Kids!!!!!!
