Butler Specialty Butler Table in Plantation Cherry Finish

I'm not good at assembling furniture, and at first had trouble getting the stretchers to cross properly. I thought the stretchers were defective, so I e-mailed the store and they sent new ones right away. I did get them to fit together finally after playing around with them. Otherwise it was easy to assemble. Just do not tighten anything until all pieces are in place. The table is relatively small which is what I wanted because I did not want to cover the Persian rug. I generally buy very high end furniture that NEVER requires assembly and I was worried that the table would look cheap. I must say that it stands up very well to my Stickley furniture and the antique furniture I have. I love the color of the table. It is a rich mahogany color (called Plantation Cherry) with a beautiful glow. Really nice looking. And a very good price.

Beautiful table and the right size for my den, but there is an unusual smell that ‘s coming from the wood.

Table purchased for $275, it arrived with a dent on the top surface and a hinge had hardware pulled out of the table. Seller offered to replace the part. When I agreed and asked for the entire part as it arrived in the box I was told the part was not available. The Seller wanted me to return the table and repurchase it for $469. The Seller refused to exchange the table for a table in good condition. It took 1 1/2 months and over 40 communications to close this issue. I had to file a claim through Amazon and contact my credit card company. Seller never corrected the issue. I felt harassed by the seller who kept telling me to return the table and would not send another one at the cost I initially paid. All I wanted was a table in good condition for the cost I purchased it for. The seller instructed me to return the table and they then raised the price by almost $200. I was told to repurchase the table after I returned the damaged table. I would not recommend this seller or product. There's no quality control on products prior to shipping and the seller does not stand behind products.I love the table but have to live with the defects. The table is very small and not worth more than $275.

This little coffee table was just what I needed for the space. It goes well with my camel back sofa and wing back chairs in front of the fireplace. The woodgrain is lovely and exceeded my expectations. Putting it together was easy and took less than 15 minutes. Also, it arrived before promised date.

This item arrived with missing bolts and screws.
