Exclusive butyl diaphragm along with the 100% corrosion resistant virgin polypropylene liner are secured by a positive hoop ring seal for added strength and reliability. This totally integrated system outperforms other Types of water chamber designs. The stainless steel air valve is welded rather than threaded to prevent loss of air pressure. The finest quality custom mill steel is used in the deep drawn dome for extra strength while keeping tank WEIGHT to a minimum. Note: all tanks are pre-pressurized at 38 psi and should always be set 2 psi below the cut in of your pressure switch. It is recommended to check tank pressure before installation. Pressure switch settings should not exceed a 20 psi differential between cut in and cut out.

Exact replacement for my 32 year old tank.
Replaced a 32 year old failing tank (same model) with this one. Seems like the industry standard, no problems. Came charged at 38 psi which I lowered to 28 psi to accommodate the 30-50 pressure switch I installed. See pics of finished installation.

You can't go wrong with a Well X Trol
I purchased this to install on the output side of my water radon system. These amtrol tanks are some of the better ones you can buy if not the best. Good quality. Made in USA. Not a whole lot to say about it except it works great and gives me some extra capacity before the pump needs to kick on again. I have a lesser quality Well Mate tank on my well pump and when it dies I will be replacing it with this same product.

Working well (tee he) . I adjusted the tank pressure to 28# to work better with the 30-50# pressure switch. When I installed this tank added a union in line to ease replacement next time which I hope will not be for several years. I saved some extra by purchasing though Amazon warehouse, tank was perfectly new.

High Quality Tank
This tank is a much higher quality offering than any of my local stores had. Any welds that are visible on it are of experienced hands and it looks of a better craftsmanship than my previous tank. Anybody with hard well water knows these things don't last very long, but you should have no problem pulling 5-7 years out of this tank. Comes precharged perfectly. Plug and play, rip the old one out and put this one in and you'll be good to go.

Only well expansion tanks I ever used and I alo use the brand on boilers and water heaters also.. Best ones on the market I think after 50 yrs as a plumber never had one bad out of the box and all gave long service life under the worst well water quality conditions

It has been about 3 months and I am very happy with this purchase
I upgraded to this 44 gallon from a 20 gallon. It has been about 3 months and I am very happy with this purchase. The well pump doesn't have to start up nearly as often and the water pressure is more consistent. My previous tank was Amtrol as well and was still working fine after about 20 years. Seems like a great product.

Well made
Replaced a very old identical tank. Wanted to replace the old tank (about 20 years) before it failed. Note that the old one had held a constant air chamber pressure for over 10 years without having to add air. I would call that a good design.
