Good overall, but some faded printing.
These are really nice and inspiring notebooks. The binding feels solid, and the color gives it this warm authentic feel. Also appreciated are the Dyson maps, which are always excellent inspiration. My only issue with it, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that for almost half of the pages are faded on one side. On these pages the lateral lines are clear, but the longitudinal ones are faded or too lightly printed.

Decent paper, flimsy cover
Quality and tone of paper is nice, and I appreciate the sample maps in the back for inspiration. However, the cover of this composition book is not firm at all, and not much thicker than the paper within, so it curls up and doesn’t offer any support when drawing on the pad. I would have liked a more firm cover and back so that I don’t always need a clip board or hard surface to draw on.

Great quality notebook for your gaming needs
This is a very nice quality graph paper notebook which features some really cool pre-made maps by Dyson Logos (check out the YouTube channel, really good stuff!)The cover is soft and durable and the binding is sturdy and well made. The pages themselves are excellent texture and coloration and the lines are easy to see and not too dark. This is an awesome notebook which I'm using for drawing dungeons in Four Against Darkness as well as assorted RPG notes and sketches/doodles.Definitely recommended!

Great gift for the DnD and map-obsessed kid
Purchased this along with a book on how to draw fantasy maps. My son plays DnD and he loved both. Really surprised that such an inexpensive and simple item was such a hit for him! He likes that the book isn't just a generic graph paper book, but made for RPGs.

Just OK
This is seriously just off white grid paper. There is not a parchment look to it with yellow, discolored edges, etc. The other problem is that it was impossible to take out a piece of paper nicely without destroying the whole notebook which is what I ended up doing. Perforated edges would be nice since I need to scan the maps that I make. I think I may just buy parchment paper and draw my own lines.

Perfect for planning D&D, drawing graphs or just doodling.
I bought this book to plan out some adventure games I was writing. For that, the book is perfect. Every page is covered with squares, and you can easily use them to plan out maps in both top-down and side-on projections. With a little ingenuity you can do isometric drawings too by adding your own diagonals. The paper is thick and can handle being drawn on and rubbed-out many times while you perfect the map. The box lines don't rub out easily, which is handy during development. The book is really thick, there's LOADS of pages and will keep you supplied with paper for a long time. The front and back look great and keep the pages together well. This is a really nicely made book, it looks great, it does the job and it's a great price! Perfect for game development, both on the computer and for AD&D.

Disappointingly not as illustrated on the cover
I was looking for grid paper that gave a hand drawn effect to the grid lines that would complement my hand drawn maps in addition to being of a 'parchment hue'. This is how it looks on the cover art and I based my purchase on this.Unfortunately whilst the paper is a parchment style (although a bit lighter in colour than on the cover) it is not a hand drawn effect. Frankly there are online sites where you can dreate and download square graph paper of a bespoke square size so I'm not sure how this product really adds anything.I guess the confusing thing is to call it 'RPG' paper and use misleading cover art. I can't fault the quality of the product but it was not as expected.
