I was skeptical when I first used this product a couple years ago but it actually relieved my cough symptoms pretty well by the time I had taken the second dose. I had a dry cough remaining after antibiotic treatment and other products didn’t really stop the coughing and throat irritation. After the Umcka cough syrup though I coughed far less and my throat felt substantially less raw and irritated. Once again I had a similar experience this past week with this product where by the time I took the second dose on day 1 I felt much better! It also tastes good which is not something I would say about most liquid medicines. This is definitely worth a try and is very effective, at least in my experience.

I was coughing a lot and it kept me isolated. Also given that I’m a caregiver, constant coughing was keeping me unemployed. I had tried so many different things and nothing was working so I was also dealing with depression. My friend mailed me a bottle of this and I took it and it worked! I couldn’t believe it. Because it’s holistic AND I had tried some many different things without any success, I was so surprised. I have since recommended it to other people who have also had great results. I literally went through months of coughing, and isolation. Now I’m back at work, thank goodness. I would never have bought this on my own and I had never even heard of it before. It's a mild taste, hardly sweet at all.

I initially bought this for myself after dealing with a cough and sore throat due to a cold. It was soothing, but didn't help with the symptoms. However, this worked wonders for a family member! After being intubated at the hospital, he'd come home with a nasty cough we just couldn't seem to get rid of. I had him try this and it took care of his cough right away! Any time he feels a cough coming now, he takes a bit of this and keeps it at bay. While it didn't work for me, I still give it five starts for how great it has worked for my family member.

I have had luck fending off colds with several of the Umcka products. This is my favorite for really working on bronchial coughs. I've had more than my share of colds turning into bronchitis over the years while working in elementary schools. I have not had full blown bronchitis since using this product. Using at the first symptoms along with other self care (rest, neti pot, no dairy, eat healthy) seem to help me fight off illnesses completely or at least make symptom tolerable so I get through it myself without needing medical care. I've used this for many years. It is always in my medicine cabinet ready in case symptoms appear.
