Almost perfect, but it's tremendous cat fur magnet. It will never look pristine if you have cats. It's easy to vacuum off the cat fur and litter, but it'll be back in about 20 minutes. Otherwise, love it. The cat fur issue is making me consider other options for cushion for another part of the house, but would likely buy again.

I love my meditation pillow. After weeks of looking around and reading reviews-falling in love with another item, only to read the bad reviews I was losing hope of finding the right meditation pillow. I’ve had severe spine pain all my life, and in bad days my neck pain starts up as well. My posture is horrible-and me knees cannot take sitting for long durations. So finding the right one, and large enough was very difficult. The reviews were amazing and felt so real and honest, I had to try it out. My wife saw this on Amazon, and I just knew this one was the one for me. I’m hoping to improve my meditations while causing minimal pain to my body. Thank you so much for a wonderful product. I’ll keep you guys posted. 🙏🏻 Martin

They should not call this a Zabuton. Zabutons are traditional Japanese mats used in Buddhist centers throughout the world. A plump round cushion called a Zafu is traditionally placed in the center of the Zabuton. The round cushion and the mat, used together, facilitate sitting. Meditators buy Zabutons for their homes, and I suppose the Zafu could be dispensed with. But it is generally recognized (even in the yoga world) that having your bum propped is desirable when you wish to maintain an erect posture. (The lotus posture is very popular for meditation, of course; this involves sitting on the edge of the Zafu with knees resting on the Zabuton.) Anyway, this so-called meditation mat is simply not thick or dense enough to provide comfort - at least, not on a wood floor. Authentic Zabutons can be found online, but I balked at paying the higher price, hoping that this product would do. Nope - I'm out of luck!

Disappointed. This may looks thick and plush in the photos. It’spretty enough but is flat and barely has any cushion to it at all. I may return it but I'm going to see if I can add more filling to it or something. I spent $20 more on a different mat a few years ago and it was so much better quality. Sadly that company went out of business. When I sit in cross leg on this one my ankles dig into the floor beneath my knees it is completely unbearable.

So this is a quality item, and a removable cover is always great. However, I wasn't expecting the padding to be as this as it is - about 2" with no weight on it. I noticed a review who said this was the same type of mad they experienced at a Zen monastery. I'm sure it is these days, with manufacturers saving costs. All I can say is, my monastery had pads around 3" thick, more solidly filled so they did not compress much with weight, and I had a similar one until now. This product will work for me, but I definitely miss my thicker, sturdier pad and will shop for another. I also imagine that will currently cost twice as much, assuming I can find one, so that's a factor to keep in mind.
