Good belt, but strap tore - great customer service
I purchased a dip stand and this belt. I had been using a 15kg plate for the first couple sessions. Today I went up to 30kg and when I was finished and removed thr plates I found the center strap was down to the threads. I did NOT swing, jerk, or twist while using the belt. Because of a back injury I always work out in smooth controlled movements. I could have bought an inexpensive weight belt, but instead it appears I bought a cheaply constructed expensive belt.**UPDATE**The company contacted me after this review and sent me a full replacement belt. After a few uses, the strap again began to fray. I do not recommend this belt if you use Olympic style weights that are solid iron as they may have sharp edges in the center hole, which I think is my issue. I have replaced the strap with a chain and its working great. The belt is very comfortable because of the heavy padding, its also easier to adjust than one with a standard belt buckle. The customer service is fantastic, they stand behind their products.I'm adding a few stars to my review.

Excellent purchase. Zero problems.
Use it for dips and pullups. 1000% better than leather belt with a chain.I see a lot of people use plates, but I think a much better option is to use a dumbbell if you have them available. That way you don't need to continually unhook and hook the carabiner and the dumbbell can sit between your legs and be held in place by the strap. Plates can have a tendency to swing around on a chain or strap, and you sometimes find you're more focused on stopping the movement and stabilizing your body and less focused on the muscles you're working. Just slide it between your legs and let the strap support the weight. I've used up to a 120 lb. dumbbell and the belt and strap held perfectly. As far as sizing, I would slightly downsize if you're unsure which to get. I have a 32 inch waist and got the Medium. It fits all the way around my waist with each end coming together, but you don't need a dip belt to do that in order to work. You just need it to wrap around your waist enough to keep it up and over your hips. I'm sure the Small would work just as well but a Large would be way too big.

Quality weighted dip/pull-up belt
Pros: light-weight, well made, well designed, adjustable, and versatile.Cons: carabiner/clip is a little too large for attachment loops; this makes removing the carabiner difficult.Overall this is a quality weighted dip/pull-up belt. Its light weight, so I keep it in my gym bag without much added weight or use of space. No frayed edges or loose threads yet. My only qualm relates to the way the carabiner/clip fits into the attachment loops. Getting the clip into the loop is effortless; however, removing the clip is more difficult than it should be. This is especially problematic after a set of heavy pull-ups or dips. The clip is quality but the angle of its hook is steep and that creates a weird angle when I remove the clip from the loop. IMO, I consider this a minor problem and I have since adapted.

Best Belt in the World?!
This belt has by far beaten my expectations. The price for the product is unmatched with any other belt out there. The quality is by far the best ive seen aswell, especially on the straps and the support loops and it is a fact that this belt can definitely hold up the maximum weight that they suggest with ease. The comfortability when wearing the belt with additional weight is just amazing comparing to other belts. This brand really outstands other companies by far. There is just nothing bad to say about this belt, go buy it! I am 175cm/ 5'8 and bought the Small size. Originally, i was going to buy the Medium size but after talking with an athlete who uses this belt for a couple of years and tested both the S and M size, he suggested i get the S size. M size would have been way too big so I suggest the majority of you to purchase S unless you are overweight. It is really important to note that they ship worldwide for a very good price aswell! Really 10/10, cant wait to use it regularly for my trainings. Well done on this amazing product and thank you Brute Belt!

Excellent customer service ...
I haven't had this belt 2 weeks and the back loop ripped off during sled pulls on smooth concrete with only 90#. I have attached images for reference. I love the concept of the belt, and it is incredibly comfortable, but you need to be aware of a few things if you are planning on pulling a sled. I highly recommend using (2) back loops to attach to the sled, this (i believe) will prevent the tearing shown in the pics.I have had +150 on the belt for dips with no issues at all ... Very comfortable ...So as with any new product I had a learning experience (torn loop) however, I talked to the company directly and I have never had a customer service experience as nice as theirs. They were prompt to rectify the problem with a new belt and I plan on using two loops for the sled pulls next time ...I suspect the belt might have been a defective unit as the other loops that I have had excessive weight on show no signs of wear. I look forward to using this belt ... You won't regret it and if there is ever an issue it will be VERY quickly resolved.

I really loved using this belt
I really loved using this belt. It was great the most I ever put on it was about 90 lbs and it held up well, and the weight was comfortable unlike any other dip belt I have used. Unfortunately this past week I only had 15lbs on the belt. The belt strand became stuck in the belt loop and I attempted to take it off and the black fastener on the belt popped off. I can no longer use this belt. It is so unfortunate as one it was expensive; and two it fit really well. I am very dissatisfied with the metal that tightens the belt I thought it would hold up better. I may purchase another one but now I am hesitant, and cannot return it as the return period is over it has been almost a year and I did not even use the belt that much.
