These were bought because they stated they were waterproof and as my son was going hiking late September he needed something that would be on with damp ground. These were not even good for dewy grass on morning walks, they soak up any and all moisture. Also when purchasing I measured my son's feet and added for the comfort of thicker socks and they ran smaller than they were advertised/ should be. would not recommend these to anyone we will now have to buy a different pair

I bought these trainers for my 10 year old granddaughter in September. She absolutely loved them, the were comfortable in everyway, however within two and a half months they have split at the front. I have attached photos. Now granted children can be a bit rough on shoes but I would expect trainers to last longer than 2.5 months so I now have a very disappointed granddaughter.Yours Jessie

These walking trainers are great. Bought for my son who has fairly wide feet-these did not disappoint. Fitted excellent, he says they are very comfy and sturdy. These are his go to shoes now, easy to put on and take off too.Not been out in the wet weather yet so cannot comment on the waterproofing*Edit-these are NOT waterproof, even just the morning dew seeps through so he ended up with wet feet!

My 8-year old put these shoes to the test last week doing daily walks/runs in the muddy area of the school grounds and going walking in the countryside with his dad on Saturday and Sunday. As this is November, he really needed them to keep his feet dry on muddy paths and pitches. He loves them! He says they are really comfortable, easy to run in and keep his feet dry. The only way they could be improved is if they came with a magic shoe brush to clean off the caked mud for you. My husband took 30 minutes doing this on a Sunday evening they were so caked. Yet, they came up clean-looking with just a brush and damp cloth and no moisture inside the shoes. Value for money as well as they are half the price of a top-name outdoor brand of walking boots that I usually buy for my son.

I ordered a size 4 for my son and they fitted perfectly, he's a size 3.75 more or less so he has a little extra growing room in these.They look superb, and for £26.99, the quality is rather good, a lot cheaper than some of the famous brands that normally cost me twice this amount.He has wide feet and these shoes accommodated them nicely, he has had these on for a few days and hasn't complained once!I like the easy lace system, very quick and easy to tighten up the laces, wish we had this when we were kids!The inner sole is very comfortable for him, he said they were soft and his feet never felt stuffy. The sole is pretty thick offering a good grip as well.We did have some rain today and his feet were dry when he took them off, obviously that's just everyday use, not sure how much waterproofing these would offer if in the great outdoors.The stitching around the entire shoe is neat and tight, no loose threads of any kind.So, for £26.99 I'm happy with them and best of all, my son says they are very comfy and look very cool!Recommended.

Ordered these as an alternative to traditional walking boot style. These were for a school trip and 4 friends all bought the same. Kids all found them super comfy and they popped in the washing machine after getting very muddy and came up as new. They were fully waterproof too !!

Rally smart trainers/walking shoes. Look robust. Time will tell. Only slight issue is they come up really small... bought a size up for my son but he will only get a few weeks wear out of them, if that. Not a particular issue as he can pass them down to my other son, but something to be aware of.

I bought these shoes and a second pair in a different size for both my sons at the end of February, approx 10 weeks ago. Initially I was thrilled I thought they ticked everything I needed, elastic laces for doing up quick, sturdy, reflector strips, a good crossover between a shoe and trainer for multiple purposes, school, walks etc, fit well. But after about 7/ 8 weeks BOTH pairs of shoes the soles have collapsed!! My 9 year olds and my 5 year old sons. And the grips have started peeling. I noticed my eldest son walking funny and he said his foot hurt, they have literally collapsed inside. He is an active boy and walks a lot but I'd still expect the shoes to last longer! Was going to request some money back or complain but the return window closed 4 weeks after purchase so no idea how to contact Them. DON'T BUY DON'T LAST. I would have left a 5 star review if I'd done it when received item. Glad I left it so people know these shoes won't last.
