How many cases are there?

Planning on playing this game at our remote cabin that has no internet will that be a problem

You could still play it, but you need the Internet to confirm whether your guess is correct. You don't need the Internet to solve the puzzles, but you won't be able to know for sure if you got each puzzle right or not.

Can you do the cases in any order?

Each one is individual. So you can do them in any order.
