MPOWERD Luci Color Essence: Solar Inflatable Lantern

I have 7 luci lights; 2 essence color change and 5 white ones. These lights are used for weekend festival trips for my daughter and her friends when there is no electricity and no campfire allowed just tents and canopies. They love them. Very bright, compact, always works and they are especially liking the color change lights. I may order 2 candle luci lights for them to try next year. They put them on the roof of van in direct sunlight during the whole day to charge (put a towel down under them so they don't melt to metal rooftop), then hang them on canopy, tents and campsite at night. During the rest of the year I randomly charge them outside in case of a blackout or emergency but luckily have not needed them for that yet.

My other one did not survive the hurricane. This one is prettier and makes a great replacement. Love all the pretty colors.

Love the concept. Pretty colors. Waterproof! My daughter plays with it in the bath. The only downside is, it takes a long time to charge and doesn't last long per charge compared to other similar solar lights.

Delivered expeditiously and as advertised.

At first we really loved the product for our boat. However within a few months of light use, the product stopped charging/working. The whole point of this product is solar light. there are plenty of other options out there, this is not a solar light that will last.

This has to be our third or so Essence light... we travel + camp super frequently so we always take our Luci's with us. However, on two occasions now we have placed it on the roof of the van to charge and completely forgotten it (and drove off). Thus, two gone in the wind.They definitely take some time to charge (allow 5 hours or so of direct sunlight) so be aware of that, but once they do consider that you never need to buy batteries for it, and on a fixed light setting they last as long as they say they do. We own about 5 different versions of the Luci light, and this one plus our Luxe are by far our favorites.

I'd bought the original Luci Colors and after the first night of playing with it thought it was cool enough that I bought 3 others-- the Lux, the Outdoor 2 and Essence. The Essence never took more than one dot of charge, and now after a week two others (including that original Colors) also won't. The Lux still seems to be charging fully...Shame, it's a really cool concept and the first few days when it was working as expected it was fun.The other comment I'd make is that the sparkly coating in the colors is more festive than the flatter frosted Essence...

The battery life is not what I expected. The change of colors is very hard like a switch. Not smooth.
