My son bought this for me and I love it! It is very good quality and looks really nice, having a lovely delicate gold design on white glaze. The lid is quite different and sits inside the top. There is a slight shelf built into the side to stop the lid moving and it works really well. It is a nice weight, slightly heavier because it is ceramic.

It keeps my drink hot, the cup gets warm but not too hot to hold and the lid comes apart for easy cleaning. For me it's perfect. I've seen bad reviews for it not being leakproof etc and I'm sorry but who is tipping their full cup upside down?? I don't spill my drinks when there is no lid anyway so for me the only function of the lid is to keep the drink hotter and this does that
