How do I know this product isn’t a counterfeit?

It is a counterfeit- just compare the ingredients. This bottle contains additional (harmful) ingredients that are not listed on the Biolage website. Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol to name a few. I'm currently speaking with a representative but they say "Unfortunately we do not have information on this. I’ll take this as a complain and will pass it on to the concerned department for further improvements. We value your feedback. We will make sure that this should be investigated and should not happen again."

Q. Why are there at least 2 recent reviews describing this as a bad knock-off? This is the downside of Amazon letting anyone sell.

I just received mine today and was concerned it might be counterfeit...due to the lighter shade of pink and lack of flowers as others have posted in reviews. I checked the Biolage sight and discovered this IS the new look of their packaging for the Color Last line. Mine has the protective seal, so I feel confident I've received the legit product.

I would say you got a conterfeit bottle I order one last month and it looks the same as the pic
