It’s like a bible in usability testing
I love this book. It’s so well-written that I didn’t scan.

Good run through of advice, but not without flaws
The author means well and gives a good fly through of improving usability on web sites. However, there is kind of a creeping "mother knows best" atmosphere to a lot of the content. I would have appreciated a little deeper dive into the psychology of usability from a more scientific standpoint and less from the author's experience serving his clients. Also, in an age where so much can be measured with Google Analytics, little attention was given to approaching tests scientifically or backing up assertions with examples of client data.
