Gates (G27170-0404) 4C1T-4RFJX Field Attachable Type T for G1 Hose, 1 Wire, Female JIC 37 Flare Swivel, 1/4" ID

This is exactly what I needed to repair my 1/2” dia. Pressure washer hose. You’ll need two of them if your hose is damaged in the middle so you can connect the two pieces. Perhaps consider a new hose at that point.My hose was damaged near the end so one of these gates repair couplers was needed and it worked GREAT! HighlyRecommend!!!

This does not fit any pressure washer fittings - you can NOT have this as the end piece and connect a pressure washer connector. But you can get 2 of these and a fitting between them - available on Amazon too - and use them to connect the 2 sides of the hose after you cut the broken part out . So the original end connectors stay on the hoseUsually they don’t repair hoses - and this is for hydraulic hoses . But this can work if you use it right

Nothing fits the female JIC 37 flare swivel 1/4 id. The recommended products are useless for a variety of reasons. It's obvious that no thought was given to this part of the description

The male part fits into the hose well and the seal is probably excellent. The female end fits nothing, really. I thought it was just me, but after reading other reviews I find that a lot of people had this problem. Why not just make a female end that fits the part that goes on pressure hoses? Make the female end a straight 1/4 and call it a day. What's hard about that?
