ABOX Laminator OL381C, A3 A4 Laminator Machine 5 in 1 Thermal Laminating Machine with Jam Release Switch, ABS Function, Corner Rounder, 16 Laminating Pouches for Home, Office and School

I bought this laminator for some home and school projects for my kids. I have purchased 2 others and returned them because they were flimsy, did not work well or left bubbles. This laminator worked very well. The manual states that it heats up in about 4 minutes. I started a timer when I turned it on and the ready light went on just a couple of seconds past 4 minutes. It comes with 16 pouches in 4 different sizes. VERY convenient. Lamination pouches start at around $10-12 on Amazon. Most laminators do NOT come with pouches. It also has a built in cutter, which is also VERY convenient. Most laminators do NOT come with a cutter. A basic cutter costs about $10 on Amazon. Everything you need to be laminating with 5 minutes of unpacking comes in the box. It even has a cleverly stored rounded-corner-cutter ($10 on amazon).I laminated a few photos that I wanted to preserve and it was fast and easy. Unlike the other 2 laminators I had returned, there were absolutely no bubbles. As soon as it was finished, I was able to cut it using the built in cutter and round the corners with the corner cutter. I also purchased some cold lamination pouches (not included) and did some cold lamination. They do not necessarily need to be put through a laminator, but it is great for ensuring no bubbles get into your lamination.BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN USING THE CUTTER. That thing is SHARP. There is a convenient lock on the cutter, but still….be careful. I would not let children use this without very close supervision. It gets hot and it has a big old cutter on it. You’ll want to turn it off when not using it.It has a ABS button to unblock jams, but in the 12 items I have already laminated, I had no jams. I even did some pretty thick card stock items that are right at the maximum advertised thickness and had no problems.It does quality work. The items I laminated looked great. I like the fact that everything you need is included is a big plus.I have purchased several other items from GooBang Doo and have always been happy with the quality of their products. This product was no exception.Great Product – I highly recommend!!!

I often use a paper cutter for trimming away excess and then scissors to round the edges, with my rounded edges usually looking horrible. So, when I saw this ABOX Multi Laminator with the built in paper and lamination sheet cutter along with a corner rounder I ordered up.There were no surprises when the ABOX Multi Laminator arrived. It was well packed, looked solid and well made, and came with a starter supply of laminating sheets ranging in size from 3 ½” x 5 ½” up to 12” x 18”.The guillotine style paper cutter turned out to be super sharp and makes nice clean cuts. The cutter is also heavy duty enough to cut through multiple sheets of paper or cardboard stock with ease. The corner rounder also works wonderfully, quickly and easily rounding off pointy corners giving the finished project a professional look.There are just 3 switches on the laminator. An On-Off switch, a Cold-Hot switch giving you the option to use both no-heat and heat-sealed lamination sheets, and an ABS switch used to release the lamination sheet in case of a jam.As for operation, the laminator runs quiet and the all the projects I have completed so far have come out bubble-free and looking good. I have had one corner of the leading edge of the lamination sheet curl slightly a few times, but with the built-in paper cutter I was able to trim off the offending corner quickly and then use the corner rounder to give the project a professional look.All and all I am very happy with the ABOX Multi Laminator. The title says it all. My house is the Lamination Station and this very well designed Laminator has been in overdrive since I bought it. I'm not much into writing reviews but when I am happy with something I feel the need to give a shout out. I had a 3M before this but it was not up to the task and exploded. Ok, it didn't really explode but it stopped working after 2 weeks of almost daily projects. It got very very hot and was almost untouchable. Not safe for my kids who use this thing like it's a tablet computer. They make books, laminate drawings and artwork from class and are currently making scary Halloween decorations to hang around the house. They would laminate a sandwich if I let them. As for myself, I use it for just about anything on paper that needs preserved. Marriage Cert, kids birth docs, anything my kids need for school work (writing/math cheat sheets, etc.) It's one thing to print as they need something but crazy better if I only have to do each item once for the entire school season. Plus they can write on them with dry erase. I have a catalog of recipes that I keep from laminating pages out of cooking mags. Pin them to the fridge while cooking instead of turning the screen on my phone on 25 times. I also use dry erase to check things off while adding to the pot. Pictures of my kids preserved and off to grandmas house in Alaska. Wish someone did that with my childhood photos that are pretty much destroyed/degraded. Also, as posted in one of my pictures, bird photos. I shoot bird photography as a hobby and the uses are endless. I am thinking of a bird themed Christmas tree this year and this will be the ornament making master. Ahhhh, Christmas cards......sorry, that just came to mind while writing. After a month of daily use I think this one is going to live through the abuse it gets. Not much more to say other than it's excellent at what it does. I wish I hadn't bought the previous one for half the price although I did get my money back since it died in 2 weeks. If you plan on keeping it a while or using it frequently I would definitely recommend this machine (especially for kids use). If you think you do not have many things to laminate, buy a laminator and get back to me in a month.....hahaha. Oh yeah, any brochures of importance like the rental one I posted a pic of are very nice. Only a fraction of the price of having them done at staples and when the commission comes in it is a very small price to pay. Also a write off if work related.....right!? Isn't everything work related? Answer > It is if you would like to write it off. Anyways, I'm done. Gonna print this review out an laminate it........just kidding. Stop looking and click and buy. You won't be disappointed.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I wanted to purchase a laminator for a while now but never felt the cost was justifiable. When I saw that this was 3 in 1, I knew I needed it. It’s a small machine which is actually what I prefer to have at home, I needed a cutter for my crafts too (check!) so this totally made sense for me. It’s a bonus to have that corner cutter and it surprisingly works very well, but not sure how it would work for corners that aren’t 90 degrees. One thing I think could be better is the “ruler” on the machine, at first I thought the clear cut guide was an extended ruler which would have been amazing, but unfortunately it wasn’t, not a deal breaker but could be better. When I did a test hot laminate I was surprised at how quiet it was, it took about 4 mins to heat up for me and the surface of the cutter actually got quite hot to the touch so make sure to be careful. As promised, quiet, quick and no bubbles! Also great that it comes with so many laminating pouches to use!

Unser altes Laminiergerät hat nach 12 Jahren seinen Geist aufgegeben und ich habe mir diesen hier gekauft in der Hoffnung, dass er mindestens genauso lange durchhält.Technisch hat sich wohl in den letzten 12 Jahren nichts auf dem Laminiermarkt getan - das neue Laminiergerät funktioniert genauso wie mein altes (kein neues Hightechfeature oder WLAN Connectet und APP-Funtion) ... aber Spaß beiseite. Ich finde das gar nicht schlecht - nicht immer sollte man bewährte Technik ändern.Das neue Gerät wärmt sich relativ schnell auf (nach spätestens 5 Minuten kann man anfangen zu arbeiten).Das Papier wird gerade und gut eingezogen. Die Hitze ist genau richtig so dass keine Wellen gebildet werden oder es nicht richtig hält ... das war unser Hauptkriterium und hier gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.Sehr gut finde ich den zusätzlichen Papierschneider. Denn in der Tat haben wir bisher immer noch eine Schere oder einen Papierschneider verwendet. Jetzt ist das alles in einem einzigen Gerät untergebracht. Sie Schneide ist scharf und der Schnitt gerade. Man kann die Folie gut fixieren und dann relativ exakt schneiden - wichtig ist dabei, dass man die Folie wirklich gut festhält, weil sonst die Schnitte nicht gerade werden - das kann schnell passieren, wenn man nicht aufpasst. Wenn man das aber beachtet, ist es eine feine Sache ...Ganz OK sind die beigelegten Folien und der Eckenabrunder ... ich denke die Folien sind ganz nett, weil man damit gleich starten kann. Aber sie sind keine hochwertige Qualität aber "nice to have" ... den Eckenabrunder habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert. Ist aber generell sinnvoll, da bei Folien ja oft scharfe Ecken entstehen die wirklich scharf sind ... außerdem sieht es mit abgerundeten Ecken (heißt das so?) einfach besser aus ...Alles in allem wirklich ein schönes Gerät für einen guten Preis. Ob es wirklich 12 Jahre wie mein altes Gerät hält ... ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden. Bis dahin gibt es von mir auf alle Fälle 5 Sterne ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a Scotch laminator on my watchlist forever. The prices on laminators vary quite a bit so you have to be patient if the price is high - it will usually come down. Anyway, I got an alert that the laminator was at my strike price so I clicked it. However, this product was also on sale and was offered at an amazing price. This one does Hot and Cold laminating, where the one I was waiting for, only did Hot laminating. I thought, that for about the same price, I may someday need the cold laminating and decided to buy this product.I have only done a couple of jobs but it is super easy. Wait for it to warm up then place what you want to laminate in a pouch and place the edge into the machine. The laminator will take it and run it through. It takes time but the final product is very good.Another advantage to this product is that it has a built-in cutter on the top of the machine and it comes with a corner rounder. To buy both items together you are looking at about $30 so that they were included and that the unit was on sale was a giant bonus.This is an excellent machine with very useful extras that you otherwise would have needed to purchase separately .Excellent purchase.

I was looking for a small laminator that I could use in the home office. I was previously going to the local print shop to do all my laminating, but it was starting to add up. I did a quick amazon search, and didn't realize how common these portable style laminators were. I ended up choosing this one as the price was right and it was a 3 in 1 device. It also functions as a paper cutter and corner rounder, which can come in handy. The laminator isn't very large, so it doesn't take up a lot of room on my desk. It actually has a smaller footprint than my printer. It came with several different sized laminator films already, so I was able to use it the same day. Once you plug it in, you have the option of choosing 'hot' or 'cold' laminator. It takes about 5 minutes for the device to warm up, and a LED indicator on the front will change from red to green, letting you know its ready to use. I was happy to see how well it functions, the quality is similar to what I use to get done professionally at the print shop. So far it has been working out well for my needs.

This product is amazing. It is truly love. The 13 inch width allows for some error when loading your document in laminating pouches. I don't need to stress to load my pouches in exactly straight. The laminator even does the job on the cool setting. On the warm/hot setting it heats up quickly and does a fantastic job.The slicer works great too. It is better than one I bought at Michael's and the corner rounder slice thing is great too. I laminated some things for learning activities and my kids don't get poked on the sharp corner as I use the round corner slice things. Great idea.
