To call them to lunch. It can be used until there is no more pressurized gas. I have lived in the hills of East Tennessee all my life, and have found black bears tend to have a mind of their own. Five might run, the sixth might be angry at being bothered. A .44 mag might be the better final persuader if you have a legal carry license (legal carry in the park).

I first used mine several months ago. I have blasted/scared my friends a couple dozen times so far and it is still as loud as ever.

Exactly why I bought a small one. I was getting calls every three minutes from the same car warranty guy for over a week. Tried blocking him, reported him but he changed his phone number each time. Bought this waited for his call, held the phone away from my face and held it close to the air horsing and gave a blast. No more phone calls.

We use short beeps to curb our dogs barking behavior. It's working. We've had the horn for 1.5 months.....and it is still beeping.
