I'm glad I upgraded to K&N air filter, the factory filter was restrictive which made the air flow less than optimal but now it gets cool quick. I'm glad I can now just clean and reinsert.

Filter for life, why not

Purchased a Used 2015 Tesla Model S and noticed the manufacturers air filter was rather dirty. Did a quick search for air filters and discovered K&N made a cabin filter. In the past I have used K&N for standard air filters on my two Nissans and was impressed with the performance and liked the washable feature.So based upon past experience I ordered the filter. Upon receiving the package was surprised the filter was heavier than the OEM filter. This is due to the construction of the outer rim being made of a dense flexible plastic that would not loose its shape easily. The filter also is electrostatically charged to help capture various pollutants.As for the longevity of the filter, I will update over time to verify how well it holds up.

Fit well enough. Can't say I could tell a difference. The old one was just a little dusty when I pulled it out. These are lifetime and washable. That's good

Good quality and works as expected

Great perfect filter for 2014 Tesla Model S85 AP1.

It doesn’t fit perfectly snug inside the filter tray. I used some adhesive strip foam to create a better seal when sliding this in and it works great. I have a 2012 Model S Signature P85+
