Globe Electric 59353 Matte Finish Track Lighting, White

Love this light fixture so much we just ordered another for the next space over which is like the picture. I only bought one because I wanted to see the product up first before deciding to keep it and order the other. We love the look and it gives off plenty of light. The electrician loved how easy it was to install and this fixture can be adjusted to different angles. Better then your typical track lighting in my opinion. The only down side to this fixture are the bulbs they send with. Instead of sending 6 GU10 LED, they send the Halogen. I hate halogen bulbs. But I ordered LED and replaced them with those very easily. Once we switched on the lights we noticed that the warm white 3700K were too warm looking and don’t really match the color output of the others in our house. So...this time I am trying 3000K to get closer to matching them as far as brightness. FYI...LED bulbs go from approx. 2000K to upwards of 10,000K in brightness. In the average household, you would never need anything above 5000K I would imagine. So, the lower the K the warmer (yellow) the output. Our house has high ceilings and we have four 4000K in our living room and that is really bright, so I am switching them to 3000K LED GU10 also. Will try to follow up with the results in a week or so. PS: no rating on the suction cups for the bulbs because I didn’t need to use it. I’m sure it would have worked though.

This is a great light. It's been 4 years since we installed it and it's time to change the bulbs. The TRICK to getting the bulbs out -- they seem impossible, but be patient. We used a small kitchen tong. You know the mini tongs that have a rubber cap on the end where you grab your food. Remove the rubber tips so it's just the thin metal tongs exposed. Use those to reach up inside and grab hold of the bulb. You can only turn it left (lefty loosey) a little bit at a time. be patient but also a bit forceful, turning and pulling. It comes out eventually. A total pain but it works! Otherwise, this light is great.

Looks nice in the family room, but I wish I bought the larger bulbs. Quality good!

I chose this based on price, type of bulbs and appearance. Type of bulbs are dimmable and i use the same bulbs in other fixtures in my home. I like the brightness and color temperature I like the design, the arms and each individual light is adjustable to be pointed just about anywhere. Flexibility 10/10! Installation was a little difficult and i would not recommend to someone who has never installed a light fixture on a ceiling. I would rate difficulty 7/10 (ten being hardest). Also the white paint very, very easily picked up dirt from my hands and is just about impossible to clean after install. It is installed in my home office and I am extremely happy now

We needed some light in the kitchen, without having to drill holes in the ceiling! We bought 2 of these & it CERTAINLY did the trick! Packaging was perfectly fine & not hard to install. But, I HIGHLY recommend putting in the bulbs before hanging! The 1st set we installed we did not put the bulbs in and it was not so easy standing on a ladder putting these difficult bulbs in. Yes, the bulbs do put out a bit of heat but since it's winter, we don't mind. We can always change them out come summertime.
