Initial thoughts on this was it's expensive just becasue it's part of the jurassic part movie's , then it arrived (sizes are shown in the product description) it's much bigger than expected which did change my mind over the rrp.Think it would help if you have seen the latest jurrasic movie as without seeing it this dinosaur looks like a mash up of predator and alien which some children may find a little scary.My youngest is 7 and he loves the way this looks, most children go through a dinosaur stage when growing up but i personally wouldn't let a child younger than 5 play with this as it is a expensive toy.The dinosaur is quite robust in the build and has been knocked over a few times and chased by the dog although the dog didn't have time to actually touch it but the noise and movements did interest her.Obviously you want to maximise every function on this toy so don't fortget the scan the code on the dinisoaurs foot (phone or tablet required) to carry on the adventure.Great sound features and movement of the dinosaur but for me the best part has to be the arm launches when you move the tail this really was impressive.Do note it does take batteries (3aa not included), great value for money and will keep any dino fans entertained, encourage imaginative play and good hand to eye co ordiantion
