These are high quality replacements for the original sticks and work perfectly, even with the deadzones in games completely turned down to 0. They should last basically forever too. Definitely worth the price. The replacement stick caps feel a bit low quality, so I just reused the ones that were on the controller to begin with. Don't be intimidated by having to solder these on. Soldering is extremely easy and you can learn how to do it from watching a couple YouTube videos. Desoldering factory solder is a bit trickier, but you could probably go to an electronic repair shop and have them install the new sticks for somewhat cheap if you don't want to figure it out yourself.

This product works very well, I have high hopes that stick drift possibility will be eliminated entirely but only time will tell me that, I will update in a couple of months. As for now there is a trade off that buyers should be aware of and that is that these sticks require you to use the thumb-stick provided, it doesn’t screw on like the factory sticks instead it pushes on directly. It makes me concerned that it will come off during gameplay. This also takes away the ability to swap out the magnet sticks this controller comes with so there is no more stick customization what comes with this pack is what you get. In my opinion this is a fair trade for never getting stick drift again if the advertised feature is to be believed but once again time will tell. As for installation, this is not something that the average Joe should try you need at least basic soldering equipment and knowledge. If you don’t have that take it to a local repair shop and ask about possibly installing these for you. In conclusion so far these sticks are great after recalibration and I will be buying again for more controllers in the future. ( I was not paid to make this review )

These seem to work well. Desoldering the old joysticks is pretty easy if you have the right tools. I was using an electric vacuum pump desoldering station, and had no issues. The new stick is a drop in replacement, not much to it once the old ones are out.

These sticks are dream come true...Don't know how else to say it really...I installed them myself using leaded solder nice and flush to the board, calibrated them using a free tool online and I can't say I've ever had such a premium controller experience like this. These deliver a smooth, stutter free, zero point, driftless experience like no other. They feel better than the stock potentiometers that come standard and PRE BROKEN from Sony and whoever their supplier is. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because one of the sticks has a very strange double click when it is depressed to function as a L3 or R3. Only one stick seems to be affected by this and I doubled back over the internals to make sure I didn't make a mistake or that there weren't any structural supports missing within the chassis. It is only a mild annoyance in reality and 90% of what was annoying about it is it making me second guess my installation work for a few hours. These offer a SMOOTH, PEERLESS experience that I imagine comes with expensive 3rd party controllers. I definitely recommend!

I am very pleased so far with these joysticks. I have electronics experience so removal of old and install of new was smooth. The calibration app on their website worked like a charm. My only complaint is that I bought one set to test before buying two more sets and tge price went up almost $3🙁 my luck. Can I get a coupon or something 😁

These PS5 thumbstick replacements are amazing. It took me about 3 hours to install because im not a professional solderer. Removing the original thumbsticks was extremely difficult and I ended up just taking pliers to them after removing as much solder as I could. The pliers were able to remove them perfectly. Installing these new thumbsticks was very easy and soldering them was easy as well. Buy yourself a desoldering heat pump and soldering kit with flux and you should have everything you need. I even upgraded the battery to a high capacity one while I had the controller open. My 5 year old controller will probably last another 5 years now! Very pleased!

Ordered this for my son's PS5 controller. Left stick was drifting and jumping around and verified with a few different testers. This is definitely NOT a plug and play install, so you need to be familiar with soldering and desoldering. I have built keyboards for a hobby for a while so overall this was not a difficult install for me. Only issue, I forgot to remove the ribbon cables and got the iron too close, so this repair cost twice as much in the long run. Once everything was done, the calibration was only slightly off and the GuliKit calibration site got them dead on. My son is now in love with his controller again and having been using his mom's PS5 controller while he waits, he says he can feel a definite difference between his upgraded controller and the standard one. I'll be keeping this kit in mind for the other controllers in the house at a later date.

Switchのプロコン用のジョイスティックを購入して、自分で交換しました。 Joy-Conと違ってハンダを外して付け替えないといけないので、加熱式のハンダ吸い取り機があると楽です。 交換後、Switch本体に接続して動作補正をしたら、それからは動作良好です。

These have breathed new life into my limited edition xbox controller that kept getting stick drift issues. Even after disassembling and cleaning the potentiometers twice on the original, drift would come back after a couple of months. Couldn't bear to part with my beloved controller so fitted these into it and have had zero problems since. Very happy that the original thumbsticks are compatible with this, so the external look of my controller hasn't changed. Installation of the first took a long time as my desoldering pump was old and clogged, but once I replaced that the second one was replaced in 10 minutes! I will say that the installation is for more experienced solderers, but worth the time. Feeling very confident in the quality of these sticks, while they have a slightly different feel to the original, it's only noticeable for the first 30 minutes, then you no longer notice it (and they may even feel better than the original). Calibration was no problem and handled by the Xbox Accessories software, requiring no fiddling like a hall effect joystick would. Very happy with this purchase and the time I took to install them, now I no longer have to worry if my beautiful controller is going to become an annoying burden every few months!

Got these fitted to my pro controller and they work great. I would say these are not plug and play, and you will need to be able to remove solder to take out the old thumb sticks, and be able to resolder on the new modules. I'd recommend watching some videos of the process to make sure you're comfortable with what you need to do.
