JOTW 2 Pack of Indian Long Skirts with Sequins & Embroidered Designs (IND#9603)

Nice vibrant colors and perfect for festive occasion with the glitter and shimmer. It has a nice sway to the fabric as well. But the skirts are unlined and fabric is slightly sheer depending on the light. Wish it was lined since the threads of the embroidery get stuck while wearing or removing the skirt. Also for a 5'6" frame it was above ankle. So careful if looking for a full length ground hugging skirt. Sequins are plastic and don't fall unless you break the threads holding them.

These skirts have a painted-on design, which is flaky (especially after washing). I have owned many similar skirts, and the designs have always been part of the fabric rather than painted-on. The sequins are stitched with white thread, which looks pretty tacky on black and red skirts. This product did not even come close to meeting expectations. I really wish they were just plain and didn't have the paint on them, since it just comes off anyway.

These skirts are beautiful, and jingle when they move. My only gripe is that when I received the package, the skirts smelled like they had been in the belly of a 300 year old sunken ship. Trying to figure the best way to wash/fumigate them without ruining the embroidery and beads, because they are quite lovely!!!

These skirts are beautiful. They require care, they will need to be hand washed and carefully squeezed by wrapping them in a towel. The sequins and sparklies are very loosely attached and each one carries the thread over to the next one, resulting in long threads criss-crossing the underside of the skirt. You will need to put it on carefully so as not to get those threads caught. They will shrink some when washed and the color bleeds profusely. There is no underskirt so you will need a long slip. They are very comfortable and drape nicely.

The sequins are sewn on with a running thread and it's easy to catch your foot in the threads and break them. It doesn't take long for the sequins to start falling off, especially in the back. The length is perfect. I'm 5'1" and it goes to the floor, but it OK when I wear something with a few inches in the heel. The waistband may be a bit tight for some people, but it's well-made. The quality is much, much better thant the hippie skirts I wore in the 60s and 70s.

I got this item in two days just as promised. The quality of the skirts are quite good. Better than expected. The design goes all around the skirts. Another surprise.These skirts are a fantastic buy for the money.

Although the colors are very pretty and vibrant, the skirts have a terrible smell. They barely read my ankles and I am 5’2. I am not sure if it will shrink, but it isn’t worth sending back.I agree with others when they say there should be some kind of lining, wearing a slip is tricky because it will show through.

I had to remove all of the sequins. When I tried to put the skirt on, the threads holding the sequins would get caught up and pull the skirt into a nasty bunch. Just too many threads crisscrossed in all directions. Looked lovely on the outside, but the inside was a nightmare.
