I have been using these magnesium patches on my face when I have minor skin irritations or breakouts. I have very sensitive skin that gets irritated by certain ingredients which hide in various cosmetics and beauty products - rashes, breakouts, redness, etc. These patches help - I apply them at bedtime and much of the time they are effective in helping to calm my skin. They aren't always magic - sometimes it takes a couple of repeated applications to fully heal and calm. They are easy to apply and adhere well to my face without feeling too sticky or heavy, and they stay in place while I sleep. The regular patches are a good size for placing between the eyebrows, while the WIDE ones are better for covering the jaw area. They are a unique product that has been helpful, and I feel they are a decent value.

I ordered this thinking it might be an improvement over magnesium cream for my Achilles tendonosis (chronically swollen and tender tendons).After ordering I saw that it is really meant for facial treatments, so I didn't have high expectations.Still, I put one of the large patches around my left Achilles, since it is always the most acutely painful of the two (they both had been flaring painfully for a couple days).It was a bit prickly going in, as the patch literally is covered with tiny short needles. I was amazed to note that my pain was gone shortly after applying the patch. The tendon was still swollen (it has been swollen for ten years, so no surprise there), but the hot pain was gone. At first I thought it must be psychosomatic. Then I thought maybe the prickliness was just distracting me from the tendonosis pain. But as the day went on, I noticed that my left Achilles (with the patch) didn't bother me, but the right one (without a patch) still did.I took it off the next day (the instructions say 2-8 hours). The following day (2 days after applying), I noticed that it was still not painful! So I applied four of the little dots to my right Achilles, and the pain went away on that side, as well.I do take plenty of magnesium orally (for my bones, relaxation, sleep, regularity) so don't think I am deficient at all. Magnesium cream has been ineffective on my Achilles, and uncomfortable on my skin.But these little magnesium pricker patches, for whatever reason, seem to give real relief! Impressive.(I did not use the included serum at all.)

Received the EasyDerm Quick Calming Magnesium Patches by DW EasyDerm. I received both the small size and medium size patches.The received 2 boxes of this package. The larger package contained 2 larger patches with a bottle of serum. The small sized patches contained 10 small patches with an extra bottle of serum.The product are made from Magnesium, Tea Tree, Hydrocolloid. And the serum is Ampoule.I thought the product worked ok —I’ve had better luck with other less expensive types of patches… but I probably should have used multiple matches on my breakout area but I wanted to use these patches conservatively because of how few each packages contained.When I used this product I had a few cystic acne and I didn’t think this product flattened or made my acne hurt less. The next day I used another patch that did flatten the acne nodules.I bet the product could work well but it needs to double or triple the number of patches. I don’t quite understand why the product comes with the serum either because even when you use the serum with the few patches you receive you’ll have left over serum —so I guess you can use the serum as a standalone product?I also wish there was clearer instructions about the product on the product page.But tbh e product is sticky and stays in place. It is easy to apply. But I don’t think it’s a great value for the cost

This patch most definitely did flatten my pimple overnight. It is exactly what I have been looking for. It comes with a serum that you add to the patch, just a drop. The back of the patch has tiny metal pins that press into the skin, allowing for the delivery of the serum overnight . It might also help to drain the pimple, but I'm not sure about that. The pins are not painful or long. They are just enough to help with the penetration of the product into the skin. The next morning, poof! Pimple flattened.I would say this is a bit on the expensive side. But when I get a big zit, I will pay almost anything to get it to go away fast. It is a pack of ten small patches and two large patches that I haven't looked at yet. I actually don't break out to the extent of needing a big patch, so I am more interested in the little dots.I did have a bit of an issue with the application. It comes with tweezers which I tried to use. It made it more difficult and I will use my fingers next time. There are two little things you have to peel away from the sticker. I fumbled with this, which I think took away some of the stickiness. It slipped a little bit, but I was eventually able to get it to stay in place and do its magic.And magic it is. Despite the complaints I have, it works and that is what I care about the most. I hate getting pimples and this effectively zaps them away.
