Almost perfect.
Just opened the box. Nice tactical boots. Mine are true to size. Very comfortable right out of the box. I cannot abide a zippered boot.I love everything about them... except...the rubber toe cap. Why the weird contour?A full width toe cap would not only work better over the life of the boots, but it would look much cleaner. IMHOAppear well constructed, with a very aggressive tread pattern. (I'd have no trouble tracking someone wearing these boots...lol). Can't speak to the longevity of the rubber compound, or course. The "pull loops" at the heel are wide and look sturdy. If the boots hold up like some of the reviews state, I can live with the toe looking like it's missing a piece.Overall, at this price point, I am very pleased.

Boot
The only boot I'll purchase from now on, so comfortable, no issues with size, but buy a half size bigger, great quality 9 out of 10

So far - Really good!
First off. This is my first review. I feel I would be doing injustice but not. These boots have been great -so far.I bought these to camp in. Unfortunately my work boots blew out at the seem. Sense I’ve got these boots I’ve wore them to work (construction). They have been abused for a week. Only time will tell, but so far I’m impressed! They fit perfect for me. No break in-I have wide feet and there’s not been any issues. I am extremely happy. I’ve got grout and concrete on them. Walked across re-bar and slippery surfaces. “NO PROBLEMS WITH THE SOLES HOLDING UP”! I’ve worn these boots for yard work and every day use. I do not plan on buying $200+ work boots again. Only time will tell, but I’ve been through a lot of boots with 20yrs of construction and these boots look promising!

Good boots.
Comfortable and fit as they should. Keep feet warm & dry. Worn in the field year-round in North Dakota. High quality and worth the money. Will purchase again. Highly recommended.

My New Go To Boot! - Update
I am an avid hiker, mostly in Colorado. For years I worn Merrell hiking shoes and boots and Oakley SIs (when they were still making the SIs). Oakley, hands down was the best bang for your buck! I wore them until their soles wore out. Merrell, great boots, but a bit too heavy for my taste. But, the little bit I have worn my new Xpetis, has been great. Light, extremely comfortable. I will update durability factor after my Colorado trip in a couple of months, but I am excited to run them through the gambit!Well, we just got back from doing nearly 55 miles of hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park. These boots were not only comfortable, but extremely well suited for the constantly rocky terrain. Great boots.

Not waterproof
These boots are about as waterproof as a cotton t-shirt. Even in a light drizzle or just walking through grass after the sprinklers have been on, water seeps through and your feet end up soaked. That’s not the only issue — the boots are very, and I mean very, slippery on most surfaces, even when they’re just slightly damp, not even wet. I’m not exaggerating — I nearly had a nasty fall in my own driveway, and it had only a light sprinkle from the sprinklers! To be fair, the boots offer excellent traction and grip on almost all dry surfaces and, surprisingly, even in mud. But again, you can’t really use them in muddy conditions because your feet will get wet. Bottom line: these boots are definitely not waterproof. On the positive side, they’re really comfortable and mold well to the shape of your feet, which is great for long hikes. You feel stable and confident walking — even running — on most outdoor terrains, including rocky and sandy ones (as long as they’re dry).I only give it 1 star since the title of the item literally says "XPETI Men’s Mid-Ankle Thermator WATERPROOF Tactical Boot". People buy items based on the features and characteristics that fit their needs. I needed waterproof boots — that’s the only reason I chose these. And what did I get? Boots that aren’t waterproof...
