Knives Ranch Damascus Steel 7" Fixed Blade Toothpick Knife and Leather Sheath

Excellent every day wearable knife. Beautiful workmanship. Very well made and practical quick draw sheath. I prefer a fixed blade over a folder with a pocket clip because my wife does't complain about frayed pockets. For me, this is the perfect length blade for my every day use. I use a knife every day from opening packages to trimming shrubbery to whittling. I don't mind wearing this under a sport coat or jacket. It is unobtrusive and actually is more like concealed carry. It came razor sharp and the edge was at the angle I prefer. I like the look of damascus steel, but have not use it much over stainless. I am sure it will hold up well. I will be looking for other knives from this maker.

Knife I got was not the knife I ordered, or as pictured. Somehow a toothpick knife turned into a heavy skinner type between my ordering and my receiving. I will also echo the flaw that others have noted. The sheath was WAY beyond cheap and poor quality. The closest comparison I can make would be it is the same quality, and "leather" as what came with my cap pistols as a kid. Complete junk. I honestly believe I could tear the leather - or what ever material it actually was - by hand if I tried. Was also a vertical carry sheath, when the photo shows side draw sheath.Any store can ship a item by mistake. I might have reordered to see if I could get the proper knife I wanted. But the sheath was so bad I feel it is a big enough warning to stay away. Plenty of other knives out there where quality is the norm. Cheap gear is always too expensive in the long run. Returned for refund.

Knife if good but sheath is cheap and not the same as in this ad like photo shows. Also it is a regular belt loop vertical carry and not horizontal like they say. I’m returning it to get the correct sheath immediately and will update this review accordingly when received

This was definitely not worth the steep price, for it to have arrived in such poor condition, with a gouge marring the handle. Sad.

Knife seems great, clearly hand made and has quality fit/finish and sharp... leather sheath pretty shoty.. point of knife was thru bottoms of sheath in the box, cut the stitching, now opening like a zipper. Should have another brad or two where point rests in sheath...

Great little knife. Excellent steel. Workmanship is OK. Not sure I am in love with the sheath design but it is well made. Holds an edge great under normal use.

The knife is awesome and it is used daily the sheath has began loosing the stitching but this is to be expected with a single stitch. I will have a custom sheath made for it. The knife however came razor sharp and even after a nick got put in the blade I was able to get it back to razor sharp quality rather easily. Good knife decent sheath worth the money spent on it.

Just what I wanted, maybe a bit pricey, but still nice little knife like the cowboy horizontal sheath ! Amazon got this one right.
