Jacquard Cyanotype Sensitive Set

Q: Is this black? The title description states this ink is black. Please confirm color of this product after exposure. Thanks!

This is not ink. It is a two part photo reactive liquid that is used for making prints. The color of the prints that it gives you is blue. The liquid appears yellowish green until it has been developed. No black, no ink.

Q: Would someone please suggest a specific unbuffered paper to use with this kit?

I use watercolor paper. It is a pad of papers from canson

It comes as a powder in the bottles that you just need to add water to.

Q: For cyanotype, must I use only cotton fabric? Or can I use canvas fabric as well?

Cotton will work, canvas will not. Canvas will work to an extent but without the “gesso”. Plus the texture of canvas is very heavy, which can make things interesting. Only experimenting will tell.

調合したら直ぐ使うべき

悪い製品ではないが、調合したら1時間が限度のような気がする。私の場合、調合してから長く置くと沈殿物が生じた。画像も荒れるように思う。しかし、手軽に結果を見るには良い品と思う。アマゾン内でも価格がまちまちだが、安い（増感キットだったか）ものでも同じものが届く。上手に使えば、これだけでもかなりな面積を塗ることが出来る。刷毛は無駄が多すぎるのでガラス棒が最適。ブラシ痕をあえて付加したければ刷毛だろうが、刷毛は混合した薬剤をそっくりそのまま紙に展開できるかというと、一概にそうとも言えないように思うので、やはりガラス棒に分があると考える。
