Great value for the money!
I purchased two of these generators when there was a $250/each special. I had been looking at small teardrop type campers and thought that having a generator to power the AC would be great so I purchased two knowing that I would be able to daisy chain them and double the power should it be needed. Well they sat in my house for about 7 months before I purchased an RV. I just did the break-in procedure, Mavel Mystery oil in cylinder, add oil run with no load for an hour /change oil (man was there a lot of silver sparklys bits in that first change) / run for another hour with no load/ change oil/ run for third hour with a load. (used the AC on the RV to provide load.) These did a great job. I think one can easily handle my small 5000 btu AC, but it is always good to have a backup. Added Stabil to the fuel and will take them out at the end of this month for a trial camping trip. One of the two generators was smooth as silk from the get go, the second one had a slight miss that cleared up in the third hour of running after a little seafoam in the gas tank.Overall, these are fantastic for the price! The Honda EU2000i is about 1k, these were 1/4 of the price... I think the 80/20 principle is at work here. 80% of the benefit for 20% of the price. These are made in China, but I think we are getting to the point with China that we did with the Japanese in the 70/80's , started out as kinda throw away imports and they got better at what they were doing as the years went on.These are probably a derivative design from either Honda or Yamaha. If you find one at a good price, grab it.

BOGO Inverter Generator
For the price, $249, buying two of these to run in parallel makes sense.Running two of these with the included parallel cables & 30amp RV plug makes using your RV air conditioner possible. Are these generators "Honda" or "Yamaha" quality? No*Are they good enough for the intended purpose? Yes* (*= you be the judge)My impression, so far, is they are fairly well designed units with many handy features.Gas gauge? CheckPower usage gauge? CheckParallel ready? Check30 amp RV ready? checkUSB outlet? CheckBuilt in handle & wheels? CheckWill they hold a 1800 watt load? So far in my tests. Will they hold a 3000 watt load together? So far yes.Sound at 21 feet in ECO mode 52.3 dbSound in parallel in ECO mode 54.2 dbThey both started OK in cold temps. Took a few additional pulls. They look pretty well made inside, with a clean uncluttered layout. Oil access is easy and straight forward. Will they last in the long run? Only time will tell. They come with a 3 year warranty, so that should help. Are they better than sliced bread or canned beer? No.

Great Deal. Recommend breaking the generator in correctly.
Let me start off by saying this is not a Honda 2000. However, if you're like me you just aren't willing to drop ~$2,000 on a generator. This generator has impressed me with its quality from the very start.Pros: Parallel ready, 12v battery charger for RV, Boat, or Car Batteries, ECO throttle mode, very quiet, light, great handle for mobility, price.Cons: Manual could be better, not sure what the readings mean on the led display. Before you start!!!Please understand that the life and quality of your generators are largely factored by how you break them in initially. Here are my recommendations for breaking in a generator for the first time. Before you ever put gas in the tank or pull the cord please do the following:1. Remove the spark plug, squeeze a small amount of oil conditioner where the spark place was using a funnel.2. Without replacing the spark plug pull the cord SLOWLY 10-15 times this is coating all of the dry internal mechanical pieces in oil before they are ground against each other when the machine starts up.3. Replace the spark plug.4. Add a small amount of oil conditioner into the oil reservoir with the oil that comes with the generator.5. Add the highest octane gasoline you can afford into the gas tank. I recommend 98 or higher.6. Follow the instructions to start the generator.7. After running for about an hour, change the oil.8. Run the generator again for about an hour, and again change the oil.9. Run the generator a third time for about an hour, this time with some small appliance plugged into it.10. Enjoy your generator for a long time.I hope this review helps. I love this generator, it does exactly what I need it to for my small travel trailer, and for emergencies around the house. I only wish I had bought 2 when they were on sale.

Stay away from this junk. (Read updates)
I got this last week with a so called 3 year warranty, it wouldn't take a single slice bread toaster, leave alone the 1500 space heater, the eco mode switch doesnt work apparently, the RPMs do not change even when I turn it off. Reached out to the customer service over email, called and left them a voice mail but no one responded. After sales service is what sets a company apart from the competition and there is none here.**Update**Was able to get hold of someone and they asked me all the details and said they will get back to me, will update and change the feedback accordingly.**Update**A new unit was sent out a week later and it was delivered yesterday, I am out of town to check the performance but so far, I added 2 more stars for customer service.
