KOIMONOGATARI: Love Tale

Vampires, zombies, and snakes...oh my.
I first came to this series through the anime. Quirky, and distinctive. Well written, and (importantly) well translated, these are a great series of novels. Vampires, tigers, ghosts, apocalypses, and con-men. More than just a harem series this is a lot of fun that includes loss, despair, deep friendships, and snake gods'.

Loved it
I really liked this volume. The narrator is so different, and not who I expected, but the surprise was appreciated. I found myself cringing far less than volumes where Araragi takes the lead (as usual), and burning through the book due to the addictive storytelling.

I love this series
What else is there to say? I love this series. Each chapter is just the main character having a conversation as the mystery unravels by the end. It's fun, Japanese, and thought-provoking. I've read every book so far and can't get enough.

10/10 Kaiki is best
ANOTHER great addition to the Monogatari US series, here we get another main character that isn't Arararagi, AKA we get Kaiki being amazing. Bless Vertical

I love this series so much.
And with that, the second season of Nisioisin's smash hit Monogatari series comes to a close. And it seems they've saved the best for last. Nadeko Sengoku ascended to to Godhood, and is intent on killing Araragi and Senjogahara out of frustration. With only a few months delay it's time for a survival mission.Several of the last set of novels have been narrated, not by Araragi, but by the novels side characters. Koi is no exception. Following up on Hanekawa, Kanbaru, and Sengoku, this novel is narrated by the series best heroine. Yes, Kaiki Deishu is hired by Senjogahara to put a stop to Nadeko's antics. and the series follows the conman as he deals with the situation.I'll just come right out and say it, Koimonogatari is one of the greatest examples of character development I've ever read. In Nise, Kaiki was a card-carrying villain, who you only liked because of how gleefully he embraces it. In Koimonogatari, we dive into Kaiki's motivations for how he lives his life, and where he draws the line. One of his speeches towards the end of the book is my favorite quote from this series. And of course, the way he and Senjogahara banter is some of the best comedy Nisioisin ever wrote.Well. i guess this is it until April. Get ready for Final* Season!*Note: Final season is not actually final. Nisioisin writes books like Stephen King on Cocaine. We'll be reading these until a meteor destroys all life on earth.

Love Changes All
A story without Koyomi that brings redemption to 2 characters who were less than likely to ever change.
