Nice range of volume settings and other options
Terrific little metronome with all kinds of features, like choices for the sound of the beat, an easy way to dial up/down the tempo, change to volume from low to quite loud. Sits nicely on the right side of my stand. I placed a little velcro sticky under it to keep it there. Has all the features of other good metronomes. If I had to be picky I'd say this could be a really exceptional metronome if it (1) had a backlight that turned on when you changed any setting and (2) had an intelligent algorithm that would speed up tempo changes depending on the rate of turning of the tempo dial. If your piece goes from adagio to presto very often, a faster dial would be very helpful. But hey, I am just fine with the way it is -- one of the best metronomes I have had that combines the classic analog sound with a digital control.

Exceeding expectations
Pros: Included batteries are a nice touch, TY. Simple interface, excellent reminiscent design. not sure why the white model is 20$ cheaper than the black one, but OK, haha, I like it more =) the size of the Metronome is perfect. It's also compact but large enough to enjoy esthetically and use its functions easily the acrylic front gives it a more refined look, compensating for the plastic-looking body. The rounded back edges are a beautiful addition to the Back. all of the valuable buttons are at the front: the front wheel is "clicky" and responding, the beat selector arrows are clicky and rubbery, an excellent combination!. The volume wheel is recessed, which is nice, preventing accidental changes. The phone's output is an excellent addition; I don't think I will ever use it. An excellent selection of voices. They all sound outstanding and straightforward. On the left, there are tempo names mapped to bps, which is a nice touch but valuable only if the score you are reading uses these terms. Con's / Other things the bottom of the Metronome is the base and battery cover. It has two front anti-slip and back plastic feet, which is a mistake because it might hurt the piano finish. I added a felt sticker at the Back to prevent that. The start /stop button is another rubbery button on the top, but the click is less satisfying, feeling underwhelmed by the size/click feel compared to the other controls. The alternating green and red colors are a nice touch. Also, the tap button is not a tap button. It's is a press button. Getting a beat with pressing is hard, and I would expect this to have a micro switch, a vibration sensor, or a capacitive button to capture taps. Pressing to capture beat is inaccurate. If you place much weight on this feature, I wouldn't recommend this Metronome. ( I think smartphones are a better option for this feature, and if you want to use this Metronome, you can use some generic smartphone app to tell the tempo and dial it in here) While The screen should only set up the Metronome, the screen has an odd viewing angle. It can be seen only from the front and right sides. From the left, it looks blurred.

Best Metronome Ever!
I’ve owned probably 10 or 12 metronomes over the years and never found one that did everything I wanted. Until now, my favorite has always been the mechanical type. Pleasing tone, enough volume, the ability to put a bell on the down beat, and a nice visual cue with the swinging arm. All the digital ones… never liked the tone, poor visual cues… but did have all the flexibility of dialing in exact tempos, accuracy, portability… There are some good phone app ones, but the volume isn’t loud enough, I never liked having the visual cue on a backlit screen, and my phone isn’t free for other things. This metronome has a great analog sounding click and I can make it louder than I need. I’m a violinist and high volume is essential. The green and red soft diffused led lights are great visual cues. Plus it stands upright like a standard mechanical one so it’s easy to see and use while playing. The only downside is that it took me 30 years to get one!

Perfect
I love it. I have the earlier KDM-2 which I also like but this is better in one key respect : the tempo knob is both easier to manipulate AND microadjustable by one beat at a time. The knob on this protrudes and is easy to grasp and adjust, you can go from 135 to 136 bpm with a slight twist of the knob. The earlier model has a recessed knob with just a finger indent to move the adjustment which makes it difficult for small increases. That model is also impossible to move just one bpm at a time - it will leap from 138 to 146 which was frustrating. This KDM3 model is easy to use with a very loud click that you can hear playing an electric guitar with amp. trumpet, or any other instrument. Looks great, easy to use with a big readout and a great sound. 100% happy with this, the best metronome I have ever used.

My favorite metronome
In my 65 years of piano-playing, I’ve had many metronomes. This one is definitely one of the best. It’s compact and easy to use and has many features that I don’t even need (at least yet). I appreciate how quickly it is to change tempos (sorry, tempi is a place in Arizona). A solid bet for working on steady rhythms.

Clickety click
My only complaint is that I prefer a more analog sounding click. I'm not a huge fan of the digital sounds in general but this is a great tool for keeping time and it does it splendidly.

Very simple to use
I bought another Korg Metronome and did not like it, it had a mechanical sound and I couldn’t adjust it to any beat frequency I chose. I returned it in favor of this, which is excellent. It has a simple and loud tick that sounds like a classical metronome beat. You can also add other features which I don’t bother with. I love the start and stop button on the top which simply starts and stops it. The tempo is adjusted by toggling the tempo knob in the front and the volume is adjusted by a toggle on the side as shown. Looks great and doesn’t take up much room as well. Very light.

Perfect metronome
Obviously designed by a musician, no unneeded bells or whistles, just what a practicing musician needs in a metronome, and best of all, plenty loud for when I'm overblowing my flute. 😀 What I've been looking for.

Perfect size (a little bit smaller than a soda can), well packed, working perfectly! I like the different sound options, the settings are very intuitive, it has a wide volume range (perfect to adapt to your instrument and environment), and on top of it, it looks very pretty as well! I would very easily recommend this metronome to any other musician who prefers to have a physical option (not an app on your phone).

Great sound. We bought a few cheaper metronomes, but thr sound was awful and we returned them. This one is great, and aesthetically nice on the piano as well.
