This book has been life-changing for me, my family, and my small business.
The audio version of The Success Principles was recommended to me by my business coach. It is read by Jack Canfield himself. He has a great reading voice; so not only is the material excellent, but it's pleasant to listen to as well. (It's so irritating when the material is great but the reader's voice is grating!) I can not express to you how much the principles have impacted my life in a positive way, and I highly recommend this book as an inspirational, motivational, educational resource. The first three principles can be difficult to hear because they are about YOU taking responsibility for your life instead of blaming others for your circumstances. After that, they become more and more empowering; by the end, you really do understand how much you ARE capable of achieving, and you feel motivated to take action. I've listened to the book several times now and I plan on doing so periodically for the rest of my life.I highly recommend this book for ages 14 and up. My daughter is 7 and she actually requests to listen to him sometimes, because the stories he tells are interesting and easy-to-understand. I've incorporated the principles into my daily life and share them with my employees as well. Both my husband and I feel that we are better parents, business owners, managers, and leaders because of The Success Principles.

Listen to it in the car on your way to & from work: it does help!
I discovered Jack Canfield through the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. I love reading but don't have time to read more than two books per month so I bought this audio book. I love it! Jack has an upbeat voice and a contagious positive attitude. I listen to The Success Principles as I drive to work, and it fills me with energy and motivation. The principles are simple to apply and touch many areas: goal setting, action planning, finance, and many more. Listening to it on my way home also gives me time to relax and focus on myself.Jack talks about each principle in only 10 to 15 minutes so no matter what your commute is, you can listen to him and gain from it! I have no problem stopping in the middle of a principle as my auto radio starts it back exactly where I stopped... very much like a book.I asked my daughter, 15, to listen to one of the principles with me, which talked about visualization. It helped her through her tests :-)Congratulations Jack for your great work! And I hope I can hear you in person one day when you come to France or Switzerland for a conference.

Debbie Curtis, author
A friend suggested I try some 'success books', and I tried a couple. Found them either boring, or the author too full of himself to impress me. As a novelist, I found my way to some other author's sight (can't remember who, now), and she thanked Jack Canfield and his Success Principles. Wow! This is a life-changer. I am implementing his strategies, especially visualization and goal setting and it is making a huge difference in my writing, my personal life, and most important, my outlook on the world. I always thought that I was a happy person, but I am even happier now with clear goals, knowing I will achieve the level of success I deserve and envision for myself. I bought the Kindle edition, but I loved this book so much that I also ordered the 'real' book. I wish I had heard of these ideas decades ago, it would have saved me so much pain, so much money, and my life would have been vastly different. But you take things as they come, and I am grateful that the Universe had blessed me with the gift of Jack Canfield. I highly recommend this book. These principles should be a required class in every high school in America. The world would be a thousand percent better in one generation.

A Comprehensive, Inspiring Text on Living Your Best Life
I’ve read Chicken Soup for the Soul, seen him in The Secret, listened to one of his free audio talks, and have generally associated Canfield as a self help A-lister. I’ve always liked his approachable, easy to understand style this book is no different. It outlines 64 principles for living a life of passion, purpose and success covering everything from goal setting to friendships to facing your fears to managing your money. For those of you who have read countless self help books, you’ll likely have heard many of them before. I certainly skimmed through a number of chapters, while others I found more valuable. The length of the book is certainly overwhelming, but it is divided into chapters that are brief and concise. Canfield injects lots of exercises and processes into the book making it difficult to keep up (I did some, ignored others), but they are worthwhile. The Success Principles covers everything, so if you’re looking to focus on a very specific topic, this isn’t the right read for you. But it is a great book to have in your library, one to turn to for inspiration and one worth coming back to, especially when there’s a topic you want insight on or challenge that you’re looking to work through.

If you only buy ONE "success" book...
... then buy "Think and Grow Rich."If you only buy TWO "success" books... then buy "Think and Grow Rich" AND "The Success Principles: How to Get From Where You Are to Where You Want to Be."The financial investment you make in this book is far, far less than the investment of time it takes to make full use of it. There is just so much information that Canfield throws at you, you'll feel like you are trying to drink from a fire hose. It is truly an encyclopedia of success, except that you never really hope to read an encyclopedia from beginning to end and absorb and apply the information therein. So it's less of a "look it up" kind of book and more of a precept-by-precept tool for improving your life. You almost need to read it twice: Once to "learn" and then again to "do."This book needs to be not only on your shelf, but a part of how you perceive and respond to the world at large. Buy it, read it, and the consider principle by principle if it makes sense to you. If so, add it in to your life. You'll be glad you did.
