For 2nd generation Dots only.
4 stars because of cord coming out the top and $10 price tag for something so simple. It is nice to have the Echo Dot facing you and showing the lights better. I can hear it better and seems that it can hear me better. I tried my 1st generation Dot and it won’t fit. I learned that the 2nd generation Dot has a slight taper to it, smaller on the bottom and bigger at the top. Simply unplug the cord from the Dot and push the bottom thru the front of the stand opening (gets tighter as you push it in) and plug cord back in. I only found 3 types of stands that would hold the Dot vertically and decided to go with this one. Might have to invent my own and make a million dollars.

Exactly what I Wanted ....
I have four Echo DOTs in my house. They sit on a counter, nightstand, side table in the living room and desk in my home office. I found that when I speak to my DOTS in two of my larger rooms the indicator light rings "point" to the walls behind them, picking up the reflection of my voice off the walls in those. The innelo DOT stands I purchased tip the Echo DOT at an angle, so the top of the device is pointing more toward the direction of where I am speaking. When I speak to Alexa the ring lights now point in the direction of my voice. I don't have to repeat myself as often as I did when the DOTS were sitting face-up. And these stands look good too.

Really improved my Dot's voice recognition
I don't know if it's because I have it so close to a wall or if it's the fans on the computers, but my Echo Dot would fail to even hear me about 20% of the time unless I was right next to it. Things are infinitely better now. I can talk to it from across the room, even with the TV or radio on, and it hears me just about every time and understands what I'm asking it to do without having to repeat it s-l-o-w-l-y.If you're having any issues with your Dot not hearing you or not hearing you correctly, this might be the answer you're looking for, it fixed my problems.

does what it's designed to do
i appreciate being able to see the full light ring on my echo dot., without standing directly over it, or even near it. Alexa notifications, for one thing, are much easier to detect when the dot is displayed semi-vertically. This item is overpriced, but effective.

Very good
Not much more to say than it works as intended, looks very nice and has made listening to our echo better since the sound is coming out into the room instead of up. We use it in our bedroom, we like to go to sleep at night listening to old time radio shows. Buy it, it'w well worth the money.

Good fit, useful design
Perfect fit for our 2nd gen Echo Dot. The angle and elevated position makes it easier to see Alexa’s light and seems to help with Alexa’s recognition of commands where we have it positioned. Also helps with ventilation since we’ve had it on top of the STB that can get a little warm.

Works as described
This stand holder works well with the Echo Dot. The Echo Dot is now facing us which does help to ask Alexa questions and also makes the Dot sound better since the speaker is elevated. The material is solid and looks nice as well.

Stylish, functional, and worth the money
This is a really cool and stylish little stand. One nice thing that it does is it angles the Echo Dot so that it can hear you better when you talk. For the money this is definitely worth it.
