Salomon Outline Mid Gore-tex Hiking Boots for Men

These boots surpassed my expectations. I had bought these boots for hiking/hunting in Montana this year. Typically the weather during elk season is 20°-60° F. However, these year, the beginning of the season got down to -10°. They are not as insulated as most “hunting” boots. I know these are technically hiking boots but I hate wearing heavy insulated boots. These boots not only kept my feet dry, but as long as I was hiking my feet never got cold. This year, I ended up In some of the most extreme terrain that I expected them to fall apart in. However, these boots not only stayed together but provided adequate grip in the light snow and Loose rocks and some of the steepest terrain in the Montana mountains. They are supportive and comfortable. I was incredibly impressed with the quality and comfort of these boots. Agile and durable. I love theses boots and can’t say enough positive things about them.

I had to send back the first pair as they were a bit on the small side but going up one half size was perfect. These felt a bit tight around the ball of the foot at first but after a couple hours they were absolutely perfect. Overall quality and seams are great and I'm looking forward to a 3 day backpacking adventure with these on my feet.

Good quality boots. They are tight, though. Unfortunately they don't have "Wide" sizes. I would not recommend to buy them if you usually wear the "wide" sizes.

I’m not an experienced hiker. I bought these to be my first boots for my new hobby hoping for a boot that would give me the benefits of a boot but with the lightness and flex of a tennis shoe. I would have to say I found what I wanted in this boot. The sole is hard, tread is grippy on wet, dry or dusty surfaces. I’ve been in streams and creeks with them and they will keep your feet dry as long as you don’t walk in water deeper than the last lace eyelet or so.

Best trail running/hike shoe I have ever used. I have a high arch and replaced with my own foot beds. After that they fit and feel perfect. The laces are old fashioned which allows you to dial in the best, most snug and comfortable fit. The quick lace design is not for me. In my opinion it ruins a perfectly good shoe making a huge compromise for convenience/laziness. The tread is excellent. Stiff enough for good support but sticky enough for loose to flat rock. The Mid design allows for excellent support to help avoid rolling your ankle. I loved them so much i got asecond pair before they reengineer for the worse. I wish i could have got a pair with the natural colored tread. They have that nice pop. These will not replace my leather welted boots for backpacking with weight.

Tried the shoe on at REI just didn’t have my size so I ordered here. Pretty light weight, comfortable to walk around, and durable. They make these in ‘wide’ sizing if needed. I was told this is a preferred shoes for desert terrain mixed with the heat because it’s light weight and breathable. May take a beating on the rocks

I normally wear sneakers and bought these yo traverse hiking trails and I like these very much. My heel loop got cut somehow after a hike but the rest of the shoe is fine so just be aware to not catch the loop on anything.

Do not buy these shoes, they look great and are fairly comfortable but there are already 2 holes in them after less than 2 weeks of wear, behind the toe box where they would bend. I have been so conscious in trying to take care of these and know it couldn’t be anything more then regular wear . They will not hold up and I 100% wish I could get my money back. These are garbage do not purchase them you WILL be disappointed. I am throwing them in the garbage. I am being as honest as possible do not but these.

Son un excelente producto, solo que viene muy muy grande y pedi lo habitual de mi número. He querido hacer un cambio pero no me lo ha permitido el sistema o el proveedor y eso es un problema porque no me sirven.

I have a narrow foot and they fit me perfectly this is my second pair the soles wear out quickly but it is worth it

Los que conocemos la marca sabemos que Salomon es garantia de calidad y de cosas bien hechas. Si bien sus precio no son nunca los mas economicos, son excelentes.Botas ligeras, si son aprueba de agua (obviamente hasta donde llega la boquilla de la bota, pero las meti a un rio frio con corriente y los pies secos secos. Son mas como para senderismo tranquilo, humedo y de verano, ya que son ligeros transpirables y no tienen proteccion para senderos tecnicos o montañas rocosas, la suela contragrip no tiene dudas, garantia de salomon tambien, buen agarre no resbala ni en piuedras mojadas ni pasto humedo ni lodo. Para alta montaña o inviernos frios no harian su mejor trabajo aunque siguen siendo buenas.

Me gustaron mucho por lo regular soy 27 pero siempre pido medio número mas grande y en este casi ko había 27.5 solo 28 pero me quedaron como esperaba
