Petzl Sm'D Carabiner - Versatile, Lightweight, Compact, D-Shaped Locking Carabiner for Rock and Ice Climbing

Gotta be honest I brought this to put all of my keys on and will always have it on me If I need to spur a tree lmao but I can't really give to in depth of a review. Certainly is the nicest carabiner I've ever seen aside from my petzl ok sl.

It's the real deal. Authentic, smooth, light, functions as intended. I use them for lifelines and quick tie-in points.

Justo lo que pedí

Favorite carribeaner. Works great for my needs. Petzl is hands down the best, IMHO. I’m probably only buying their carribeaners anymore. I really like the red paint under the screw lock so that you know if it’s secured or not. If you see red on the latch you are not double locked and in danger! Helps reinforce good climbing technique and discipline regarding safe work practices. My friend has the triple action carribeaners, but I struggle to open them, and much prefer screw locking, since I can more easily operate the screw lock and open and close them with one hand. They’re a little slower to use if you can get the triple locking to work as intended, but for me they make working much faster and more efficient.

A ponerlo a prueba

This is a great biner for GriGri usage. The red color on the gate is useful for safety checks (i.e. "if you see red, you're dead"). Only complaint is that the screwing part slides almost too easily when clipping/unclipping.

Usual Petzl quality. Lightweight, bright colour stands out against dull surfaces and functions very easily as was intended.

E' Petzl, è di qualità e la qualità si paga, anche se ormai la concorrenza ha circa gli stessi prezzi, se non di più, nel complesso nulla da dire, prodotto top, la ghiera scorre perfettamente, la molla della leva risponde bene, apertura della leva 20mm, peso contenuto (46g) per un moschettone di queste dimensioni e foro per cordino da abbinare al Tibloc.

ch nutze den Petzl S’MD Screw Karabiner inzwischen regelmäßig beim Klettern und bin absolut zufrieden. Er ist extrem leicht, liegt gut in der Hand und lässt sich auch mit Handschuhen problemlos bedienen. Das Schraubgewinde läuft sauber und gibt ein sicheres Gefühl. Besonders praktisch finde ich die kompakte Form – er passt perfekt ins Materialsortiment, ohne unnötig aufzutragen. Die gelbe Farbe ist zudem nicht nur schick, sondern auch super hilfreich: man findet den Karabiner im Seil- oder Materialchaos sofort wieder. Insgesamt ein top Karabiner für alle, die Wert auf Qualität, Sicherheit und geringes Gewicht legen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
