Today Is a Beautiful Day

This is my first Supercell album, and I am satisfied.The album presentation is great. I really liked the booklet inside and thought that it was of superb quality with illustrations (the artwork in here makes me happy =D) and lyrics. I think it is one of the better inserts I have come across.The songs on the album are also good and have a variety of moods/styles. I heard a few songs prior to purchasing that I liked/had impressed me ("Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari", "Feel So Good"), and now even more have cycled in and out as my favorites (such as "Love & Roll").Though at times I find it hard to listen to the album all the way through since some songs are in a style that I am not always in the mood for, I still think most if not all of the songs have some merit.

Basically a soundtrack for the relationship between Araragi and Senjyogahara from the beginning of Bakemonogatari. But I legitimately listen to this album almost everyday since I bought it. Yoru ga Akeru yo was my favorite for a long time, but really every song on here is phenomenal.

I am thankful that I am able to buy this Supercell album (I am big fan of Yanagi Nagi/Gazelle voice) collection from USA. Usually I have to buy the CD and convert it digital, or go to Amazon.jp (via VPN to set my IP to be from Japan) to buy (small) collections they have there (both Sony and Amazon.jp has different player that won't play on Linux so it's somewhat frustrating - Amazon USA plays over web and is Linux friendly)."Perfect Day", "Love and Roll", and "Feel So Good" are my favorites so please give it a listen on the sample, and if you like the anime "Bakemonogatari", you will enjoy the ending theme song "Kimi no shiranai monogatari" (and "Watashie he"). All in all, the price is extremely affordable compared to what you would pay from Japan. This is a must get album!

...since supercell is my favorite band. But you don't need to know supercell to enjoy this one.Nagi Yanagi's voice is perfect, for a lack of better superlative, and Ryo's songwriting is on point - there's no weak track and at least 7 of the songs are stellar. Ryo is really good at mixing up the genre from track to track, too - from the twangy Rock n' Roll Nandesuno to the Jamiroquai-esque Feel So Good, there are a bunch of styles to listen to here.The physical CD's album art is also very nice - there's an illustration for each song from a bevy of talented artists.If I had to take one album to a desert island, this would be it.

Okay so the reason I bought this Cd is from the more recent recording with the Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. Where that Cd seem to stretch the vocals to where the synthesis is apparent I did enjoy the music itself. So I looked online for more by "Supercell".This Cd is pretty solid, it's not all one tone or note, one formula repeated. One track does seem out of place but there are mostly solid tracks on there. If I could've given it a 4.5 I would've. Both the vocals and the music itself is delightful and mostly energetic.Overall a good buy.

Supercell is always a great listen!

One of my top two favorite Supercell albums.The singer's vocal range is put to the challenge, and she rises to the occasion superbly.Truly an audio feast!The instrumentals are, as always with Supercell, powerful and haunting as the occasion calls for.The mix of musical styles presented here brilliantly showcase the artistry of the composer, singer and musicians.Who cares if I don't speak enough Japanese to understand all the words?!

I'm not a professional music critic or musician and can't objectively tell you what makes a great album but I do recognize one when I hear it and Today is a Beautiful Day by Supercell is such an album. It's fun, it's musical, it's got some great hooks and beats and is not afraid to rock hard when it needs to. I've been a fan of Supercell ever since I heard one of their songs in the opening of a favorite anime and have since made it a point to check out their other works and in my opinion this is their best effort yet. Highly recommended, especially for the asking price!

Ich habe supercell quasi rückwärts kennengelernt, zuerst Zigaexperientia, das dritte Album, dann Today Is A Beatiful Day, welches das zweite Album war. Es kommt ganz knapp nicht an Zigaexperientia heran, aber ich höre trotzdem jeden einzelnen Track sehr gerne.Vom Stil her ist es es zum größten Teil recht druckvoll, typisch supercell eben, hat auch ruhigere Tracks und profitiert von der Stimme bzw. dem Stimmumfang der unglaublichen Yanagi Nagi. Mit ihr war es das erste Album mit einer "menschlichen" Sängerin, wie ich finde ein großer Schritt in die richtige Richtung, da ich Hatsune Miku, die Vocaloid-Stimme des ersten Albums nicht annähernd so gut finde, wie Yanagi Nagi oder Koeda, die Sängerin auv Zigaexperientia.Wer Anime mag, wir den einen oder anderen Titel vielleicht wiedererkennen.Was die Soundqualität angeht, mein Album kommt aus Japan, ist alles in Ordnung.Insgesamt eine klare Kaufempfehlung! J-Pop / J-Rock / Anime-Musik vom Feinsten.

War zu blöd richtig zu lesen und hab nicht bemerkt das diese CD aus Südkorea kam... für den Preis ist das nicht akzeptabel.Das Japanische original hätte nur 20 € gekostet, hab wegen dem Versand trotzdem hier gekauft... war ein Fehler. Jetzt hab ich die Koreanische CD zum Preis der Japanischen -.-Aber die Musik ist die Selbe, von daher bewerte ich hier mal rein die Musik und die gefällt mir.Typisch supercell, nur ohne ミク初値

現名:やなぎなぎさんが歌ってらっしゃるアルバム。当時PVがかなり音楽チャンネルに流れていてしみしみと中に入ってくるようで歌詞に号泣していました。最近、夫が逮捕寸前の事柄をやらかし大号泣。つらすぎて思い出の曲が入ったこちらを購入。そっと思い出すようで良かったです。歳をとってから聞いてみると意外と声が薄っぺらく感じてしまい、星4に致しました。
