Wonderful and easy to paint

I bought this to give me something to do while I recovered from hernia surgery. I don't remember the last time I did anything associated with paint by number or any painting kit (novice). This is not something to do in a rush as there are some sections that are very small (.5 mm x 5 mm). The kit came with 4 brushes and I have not had any issues with flopping a lot of paint over the lines because of the brush (but I'm not perfect). Sometimes, the paint does get thick but just as mentioned in the instructions, I just add a drop or two of water and mix with a toothpick. Problem solved. There is a lot of painting to this kit. My guess is close to 40 - 50 hours of painting but I started in the areas that have large areas of the same color. I'm pretty sure it will be closer to 70 -80 hours but again, I'm a novice at this. I'm glad I got it. It has kept me busy during the recovery. I don't paint when I have pain from the surgery though as I've usually taken medication and a little drowsy. At this time, I will more than likely get another kit from the same vendor (Ledgebay). The kit is not very expensive and seems complete. My only fear is that I will need additional paint (extra full paint set for $10). I plan on updating after I finish.

I loved the final results. It looks very much like our house. But - not for the faint of heart, this pbn has a lot of small straight lines. Keep your paint thin.

This was a super fun project and came with everything so I could jump right in. Sadly, my dog passed away shortly after I started so I packed it up and forgot about it. Then just a little while ago, I pulled it out and wanted to get back to it only to discover my paints had dried up. So I went to go order a replacement set on their website, but my painting had been discontinued. I called and left a message, they called me back the next day and said that yes, that my original painting was discontinued but they'd send me a new one free of charge! That is very thoughtful and certainly not the norm these days. While it's tough letting go of the previous painting, it's really wonderful of them to send me a new painting free of charge. It seems like everyone else nickles and dimes their customers these days so this was a breath of fresh air. Thank you ledgebay for being so great! Highly recommended.

I have done many paint by numbers and this is by far the worst. Paint all dried up and started thick and hard to mange. I usually do this in the winter to kill time so I have been away from my project over the holidays…..bad to worse. Paint no longer can be used. Stored approximately as every other paint by numbers. Now I have waisted time and energy and have to throw it away! Maddening as it was a gift. Also the paper never flattened initial and too got worse over time.

First one sent was tagged wrong, and was returned. Correct item was shipped, everything perfect.

This is the most challenging pbn I have done. Tons of tiny spaces, but i love it. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because 2/5 rows of containers of paint were completely dried up. Luckily, i have many of the colors from other kits I have done.

I am so glad I settled on this company and paint by number kit. The painting came very well packaged in a cylinder container. The kit includes instructions, a small picture, a copy on paper with all the numbers in case you mess up, small paint pods, 4 paint brushes and of course the canvas. I have had no issue with the paint, although in the instructions it does mention if it's to thick to add a drop of water which I've only had to do for about two of the paint pods. I did buy a new brush as a lot of numbers are pretty small but you can easily do it with the paint brushes they give you. I am just pretty new painting like this so I like a little bit more control. But seriously if you are looking for a good paint by number kit I highly recommend this one, they are not one of those company's that try and bribe you for good reviews. Ths kit came the next day and I think it's looking pretty good so far. It is a lot though, it's taken me about 4 days to get as far as I have, I imagine it'll take me about 3 weeks to finish. But I'll update and post more pictures with the finished product when I'm done. P.S. the paint brushes are just wet and the little dot on top of the paint pods was to let me know which one I opened since some colors have two pods.

Loved that the artist included a brief history of himself & how he started his business! Very personable & am thoroughly enjoying this particular paint by number!

I was so excited to get this well packaged painting. It was a great price too! However the one paint row was mostly dried out abd the paint useless. I didn't even check the other numbers as I couldn't even start without the 3 colours that were bone dry. Really disappointing.

Das Bild ist richtig gut geworden. Abbildung entspricht dem Endprodukt, was ja auch nicht selbstverständlich ist. Pinsel waren okay, Farben hatten auch eine ganz gute Qualität. Man musste mind. 2 mal drüber, damit es ordentlich deckt, aber das war bisher bei wirklich allen Herstellern so, die ich ausprobiert habe- auch teure Deutsche. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, gutes Ergebnis.
