The Shutterbug can trigger the camera to snap either photos or start/stop recording video. If your camera app has separate photo and video modes, the Shutterbug will trigger whichever camera mode the app is set to. If you are using a camera app that has both a still photo and a video record button on the screen at the same time, there is likely a setting in the camera app's menus that will allow you to assign different functions to the volume buttons. The Shutterbug will trigger whatever function the volume buttons are set to. The Shutterbug is not capable of switching between photo and video recording remotely. Thank you for your question!

Q: Does this work with a Samsung S22 Plus ?

Hi, Thank you for your question. As long as your phone has a Bluetooth app and you can assign the volume key to take photo, the Xenvo Shutterbug will work with the phone. The Bluetooth app is used to pair the Xenvo Shutterbug with your phone. And the Xenvo Shutterbug triggers the volume key of the phone to take photo. Hope this helps. Q: Will this work on a digital camera?
