I hate the be able to write a review so soon after getting this. I was out walking my dog when we were attacked by 2 dogs. I was able to blindly grab, deploy and use it before the dogs were able to get to me. There was no spray back, and my hand was not covered with it. The spray was narrow and accurate and worked well to prevent potential disaster. Thank God I had it and it worked extremely well. Great product, thank you

Awesome great for protection right size

Great item, great price

4 stars because I am sure it works great, but haven't had to test it yet. Fits nicely in my dedicated duty belt pouch. Actually, it's a little bit longer/taller than some of the other ones I've had before. But the way I would normally holster it, it fits: with the nozzle pointed at my belt or away from me. Seems like it works the same as any OC spray. But I got this one because the gel, supposedly, shoots farther than spray or foam.

We have neighbors that can’t keep their dogs under control(even though the local law requires it) and while out in my front yard a pit bull came running at me. Fortunately this mace can was close and I let him have a full stream right in the face. He went howling back home dragging his head through the grass. If he even comes close to me I can raise my hand like I have the spray with me and he stops dead in his tracks. My wife walks in the neighborhood and she always has this with her. Good protection!

The air conditioner in my truck stopped working. The repair was more than a thousand dollars and was not covered under the warranty. It turned out squirrels had been chewing on the wiring in the engine compartment. I sprayed this on the inside of the front wheel wells once a week until the can was empty. This was able to deter the pests from climbing inside the truck. I did warn the mechanic several months later when I had the truck serviced, but it appeared to have completely weathered off, so if the squirrels look to be interested in the truck again I will have to get more.

It doesn't go a great distance and it takes a lot of effort to actually make it fire. I think you would end up with more on yourself than on the person attacking you. The bigger product is a five star because it's great and it goes a great distance and it sticks and burns. this small product just did not accomplish the goal that I purchased it for. It did not accomplish the go that it was intended to accomplish per the company's advertisement. Disappointed.
