Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA), (25-Pack), Pre-Poured, Flat-Packed, Vacuum Sealed, 15x100mm Petri Plates

These plates are quite good, I have had success in using them for growing shiitake mycelium on them and the fungus took to the plates very well. only complaint was a minor amount of moisture on the lids, but so far this has not seemed to negatively effect them.

Ordered these several times now, and each time the plates have been initially clean. Great for mycology, and only due to my own negligence and lack of sterile procedure have I had contamination. 10/10 recommend for if you don’t have time to make and pour your own PDA dishes, or just need some in a pinch.

Ordered 2 packages for my biology students to use for a lab. Half of one package and 3 plates from another had already been contaminated with bacterial/mold growth covering the plates.

This was exactly what we needed for my son's science experiments in school. Everything came exactly as expected. It was package up quite securely, which made carrying it on the bus to school very easy.

As you can see from the photo, these agar plates have been infected prior to shipping. The photo shows what arrived in a vacuumed sealed pouch. Ridiculous.
