I was finally able to find the correct mount that actually works! I have an Acer 27" monitor that weighs under 10 lbs and have had trouble with the gas springs on 2 different models (UFlex and Northbayou) and was extremely frustrated as both did not work. It either sagged or stayed in a locked position. This Upergo is PERFECT! The build quality, looks, and everything about it is everything I needed for my home studio. I have it resting below my TV monitor. Do not make the same mistakes I did and figure out the hardway. Just purchase this without any regret. Trust me.

So far the best non-gas-spring monitor arm I've tried.Pro:The arm joint is 360 degree rotatable.Other than the 4 screws for the vesa plate, you don't need any tool to assemble it (unless if you want to convert to grommet mount).The way it mounts the plate to the arm has the best design i've seen so far, super easy to put on or take off.Cable sleeve and clip are simple and easy to use.The whole thing looks nice.Con:No cable clip on the pole, but you can always use a Velcro strap.

I was trying to find a vertical post monitor stand for a home office setup. This one said it supported up to 32" and 17.6lbs. My HP Pavilion 32" QHD is 18.06 pounds. Guess what? This arm cannot keep the monitor upright... So, lesson to all: there is no extra give in this unit. Otherwise, it is a fine stand and a good value.

First, let me start by telling you that this is a very sturdy mount. However, I am returning it because I do not like how it can move freely to rotate the screen. I was hoping it would have a lock position. I really do not have any use to rotate my monitor. If you do you would probably like this mount.

Very easy to assemble and very strong. I’m using this on a 30” HD monitor (probably just above the weight limit) and everything working fine so far.
