Great for teachers!!
This machine is great and it is so easy to use. The price of the machine is affordable and it pays for itself in one use. I purchased it because I went to a store I will not name to get these books binded and they wanted a fortune. What they wanted cost more than the price of the binding machine. As you can see from the pics, I was able to do a pretty good job and I also have the machine for future use.

Perfect for binding
When looking for Types of Binding Machine I had no expectations other than it needs to punch my paper projects. So far this machine has been great works as designed. I have used light weight paper as thin double sided glossy to as card stock with ZERO issues. I am looking to get the wire binding machines in the future. Overall great product and it’s fun!

Good for the price
The bottom and feet are very cheap plastic. One of the corners came broken on mine, but I know that is likely a shipping/processing mishap. If you are looking for sturdiness, I would pass this up, however, for a budget this works great.

Install the handle properly and you have a good little machine.
Not going to lie In was returning this because it would not punch. BUT..... It was not broken. No instructions to say this but you have to make sure the comb binding prongs are closed before installing the handle, then install the handle in the upright position. Bingo, works like a dream. I have used binders for multiple years so I knew how it should function. I puzzled out why it wasn't going through and it clicked that I installed the handle not in the proper position.

Works-Caution: This is for A4 paper
I did not understand the difference between 8 1/2 X 11 and A4 paper. I have had to cut paper because the holes did not fit my 8 1/2 X 11 paper. The details say can bind up to 450 pages, but they only include small size binding combs so if you have a big project you will need to buy the size you need. You can always cut the binding strips to meet your needs so that isn't a problem. Easy to use. I couldn't find the binding combs on amazon for this company. I hope what I ordered fits the wholes it punches. I won't receive them for another 8 days.

Holes Punch Crooked at Max Margin Size (Requires Modifying Mounting Bracket to Fix)
The punch works well, but there is a design flaw that makes the punched holes crooked when using the max margin depth setting for a Letter sized paper. The reason for this is that left side metal bracket that mounts the punching mechanism to the base (inside the outer cover) sticks out too far and prevents the left side of the paper inserting fully into the punch slot, while the right side of the paper does insert fully. This causes the punch line to be crooked relative to the edge of the paper. This only happens on the wide (5mm) margin setting, the 4mm and 3mm settings work fine. You can try to get around the issue by adjusting the movable red paper stop further inwards than the Letter size setting in order to miss the bracket, but this results in the first hole having a poor positioning relative to the bottom of the page and messes up the binder position. The only real fix for using the 5mm margin setting is to modify the bracket by taking the unit apart and filing back the bracket about 1mm so that the paper can insert fully. I did this for my unit and it works well now. I've posted pictures for where to do the filing. You have to remove some screws to take off the cover and release the bracket from the base, file the bracket down, and then put everything back together again.

Works like it’s suppose to. No issues with it at all! Very easy to use.

I had no issues getting started
This item came as expected with good time. I wish that it would have had different sizes of combs included with it instead of just one size. I am looking for more sizes but not clear on which ones to get. Otherwise, I am happy with it.
