It’s a very useful and reasonably priced product, worked as I had expected. I’ve seen a better dehydrator at my friend’s house, much quieter, but the price tag is also much higher. I’m very satisfied with this purchase. It serves my purpose.

This dehydrator can probably take about 6-8 oz of food and create dried forms or jerky. This dehydrator does have a hum, and its power consumption seems reasonable for the heat provided. The instructions are actually well-written, and the operation of the dehydrator is very straightforward. I own another dehydrator, and like that one, you really should not mix "wet" food that is being hydrated due to smell and flavor leeching (although there are times where I intentionally put apples with beef to impart a sweeter taste to the beef). The times for dehydration are standard, it's not too slow to get to temperature and sustainably keeps the heat evenly distributed such that pieces are all fully cooked rather than under or overdone at the end of the cycle. The one minor gripe is that the temperature settings are in Celsius which is not a problem for me, but might need to be converted if using an American cookbook with English units (Farenheit).

We have a fig tree in our yard, and when it’s ripping time, we cannot finish them in a short time because it is too much. So, we got this food dehydrator, and it solved all the problems. Now, we can eat our figs all year long, not forcing myself and my fam eat a bunch of figs anymore. Also, the machine is so easy to understand, totally Recommend.

I've never bought a dehydrator before and so I don't have anything to compare it to, but this was super easy to use and works well. I was expecting it to be smaller judging by the picture, but it is actually a very nice size. Came in very sturdy packaging!

Love the adjustable racks, temp control and timer.Made my own fruit role tray inserts-at dollar general-2 square mats-perfect fit width to make 2 for a$1.Bed bath and beyond sells them for a dollar as well as those for spices with small holes.

Works perfect for making homemade jerky set to 60 for 8 hours and you’re good to go.

I tried making lemon slices with this food dehydrator and it took me a whole day. After the lemons are dried, I add black tea and rock sugar to make hot tea. It was tasty

First time using a dehydrator, bought for doing some jerks. But tried some apples first. And these worked pretty good. Can't wait to do some jerky. Will recommend to anyone. Good for an extra kitchen appliance. Thumb up
