I have had this plate set for some time. It is a great set. The colors are attractive, they are durable, great especially for our many cookouts and get togethers. Nice for kids as they are lightweight and unbreakable. Easy clean up in the dishwasher. Highly recommend.

Ever since I had a kid 20 years ago I have been a big fan of plastic plates. I don't use them for company but they're great. You can drop them. They don't make your food cold the way fancy china does (unless you heat it). They are cheap. You can use a knife on them to cut stuff and it won't dull the knife blades. And they last for years. This set is semi-microwave tolerant. I would say two minutes on high tops. If you overdo the microwave they will get a thin white bubbly surface deformation and that doesn't clean off. You can still use the plate, but basically, don't over do it with the microwave. Learn the limits. Obviously you can't put them in the oven. Oh and I forgot to mention that when they show too much age you just throw them out and buy another set. They are marginally more expensive than good paper plates. In fact, if you entertain regularly, I would get a couple dozen of these. They're not hard to clean.

My children like to use paper plates and Im sick of buying them lt s a big waist of. money and its not good for the environment . These are so colorful and easy to use and the children love them, adults too. Just be careful when cutting too hard on them with a knife it will leave a mark. I liked them so much I bought the blue bowls to match..

If you're looking for an inexpensive plastic plate these fit the bill. You can use them in the microwave to re-heat, but I wouldn't cook with them. I put them in the bottom rack of the dishwasher and they've held up so far. If they last for a reasonable length of time I'd buy again.
