**Background:** I have tried and am using the Aprilskin bubble gum cleanser and like it so I though I would try their complementing face mask** first impression:** this translucent pink gel. It goes on very easily however it does take a little longer to dry than other masks I've used. I recommend using some kind of silicone brush to apply as the brush allows you to apply it thicker.**Function:** I've never used an overnight mask before, but I've used many other masks that you just dry and then rinse off. This is completely different. I was absolutely shocked at the difference it makes next morning. My skin definitely has less visible wrinkles has a nice glow, my pores are tighter. It's pretty impressive.Peeling the mask of is a little more challenging than unexpected. It doesn't come off in one continuous peel, and I definitely have to spend a little extra time washing my face to get the remaining peel off. However based on the results I feel its well worth it.This is a very potent yet gentle mask. There is no irritation at all.It's not something I would use every day but if I have an special event the next day and I want my skin to look it's best this is definitely a product I would use.

This is pretty good! I like the way my skin feels bright and renewed the morning after I use this mask over my night creams. However, the mask does stay tacky for a while, which is a little irritating because it means you can't go to sleep with it on instantly. But it's really easy to peel and wash off, so that's a huge perk.

It not the easiest product to use but the results are worth it. This mask is designed to be applied and left on overnight. It forms a film that treats overnight and seals in moisture. I love the combination of active ingredients. Product is a translucent, deep pink gel that dispenses from a flip top squeeze tube. It is thick and fairly viscous. Spreading it on with fingers is doable but can be a little bit messy. I prefer to use a silicone mask applicator. This gives me the neatest, smoothest and most even coverage. Dry time is on the slow side. Allow at least 15 minutes and probably a little longer. Once dry, it does form a film on your skin as it is intended to do. It is not sticky, or uncomfortable. I may get a little bit of lifting and peeling overnight but not too much. Does not stain my sheets or my pillow. Peeling it off in the morning is pretty straightforward and easy. I clean any leftover remnants away with a warm wet wash cloth. I love the smoothness, hydration and softness that it gives my skin. The results are undeniable. Seems very well suited for mature skin.

this feels and acts like glue. actually, i'm quite sure it's just glue infused with some hydration factor in it. it does the job though. no idea about safety or quality, but i wake up, peel the red glue off (kinda satisfying lol), and my skin is moisturized underneath. i will probably keep using it.

The Aprilskin TXA overnight wrapping mask was both fun to use and beneficial to my skin.I have had some success with tranexamic acid; it is less harsh for me than things like hydroxy acids. I have never tried it in a peel-off mask, so of course I had to try this. Did the fact that it is pink sway my decision? Well, admittedly yes, but this mask isn't just pretty.I was a bit...concerned...about trying to sleep with it on. Would it be sticky? Would it peel off all over the pillow? Still, I followed instructions and applied it after cleansing, waited about 15 minutes, and then went off to bed. My husband expressed concern over the color of my face; I explained that the mask itself was pink and my skin was not.The next morning, I had a bit of mild peeling, but not a mess all over my nice pillowcase. The mask peeled off pretty easily and only required a damp face towel for a few little leftover areas. My skin was hydrated and a little glowy, and the redness that likes to plague my cheeks was reduced! I love this and plan to use it periodically as a special little overnight mini-facial.
