Bates Marauder Performance Men's Motorcycle Boots (Black, Size 8)

I'd love to tell you cyclists these Bates shoes are so comfortable that for me that usually wears ankle shoes these above ankle shoes were so snug and comfortable. I also like the material by the top of the toe area of the shoe. The water is resistant and tough enough for constant shifting gears. Also the outer soles are durable! Get em and you're outfit works for you!

No better protection than a hiking boot. If this does have special XRD ankle protection, it must be completely invisible. I think it is a mistake in the listing--the Adreneline boot clearly has the ankle protection, and this one has nothing. Minimal toe protection. I do like the sole, seems very grippy, but returning it because of the narrow toe box. For the price this is a high quality boot... just not any better than a hiking boot for motorcycling.

I love these shoes ive ordered 3 pairs. Its a disappointment that Bates discontinued them. They are great everyday shoes when im on or off the motorcycle. they take a couple days to break in and I always put good insoles in them, after that they are super comfy. the only downside is they get really warm due to the waterproof nature.

got them the size is perfect they are snug but i like that you can feel the ankle padding but not overbearing stylish and comfortable great for an all day when you're out on the bike

Go half size up in shoe fits a little snug towards the front of the shoe. 3 months later and still love the shoes.

I ordered these, and although it is a nice bike shoe, ithey were too small and I returned them. I wear a 9.5 and that is what I ordered. They are really narrow and really a 1/2 too short. I debated about reordering a 10, but I didn’t like how narrow the fit was and felt that it would not really help the fit any betterment

I wouldn't go as far as to say they are 'scuff proof' but they seem to be holding up well after 3 months of heavy wear and tear. They fit well and I've used them to shift around on a 99 vstar so they can do the job without the steel toe!

If you wear a 10.5 Vans, get this boot in 10.5. Same feel.
